Now how would this work on PC community servers?
Just no...
Thereâd be a hard metric for a âgood playerâ in HLL. Your best bet would probably be comp clans
You like your teammates being morons?
There are so many variables in this game it's impossible to balance teams perfectly.
Most better PC communities already do their best to make the playing field even by switching sides as necessary etc. and even then you get steamrolls.
It's just the nature of the game.
Also the only reliable way of getting an amazing squad is making a squad and leading by example, and this should absolutely stay this way to keep the pretty much only incentive of playing SL/commander.
Most people in ranked matches would be military/Veterans if thats the case lol
Honestly, they are usually the worst at this game.
Okay, that ainât true. Sure they likely arenât the best, yet they definitely arenât the worst. Theyâre team players unlike all these no-mic blueberries who donât try and do nothing to benefit the team.
Im not knocking this take and I am really curious how you got this assessment.
I feel like the people that are more inclined to treat HLL like some sort of sim are typically worse at the game than people that are more interested in treating it as a game and min/maxing in that context.
Like all the best players I know exploit game mechanics to be more effective. Things like left hand peak, circle strafe, head glitching, prone jumps, etc are more effective than real life strats.
Like I could clear this building by pieing doors and stacking a squad or I could just exploit desync and pre-fire and win right?
Like when we play vs RP/Milsim oriented clans it's a joke. We can literally faff around, try to flip tanks, use pistols, build meme forts in the middle of nowhere, etc and still 5-0 them without even trying.
No, but a ranked Mode for Hll is a weird idea. Imagine Squad with such a Mode.
Your not making any suggestions what so ever, how would a ranking like this work then? How to measure someoneâs communicative or team play abilities?
Just join a competitive clan mate and then you play against other competitive clans...
They a console player so all games are random I think
Ranked system exists - it's called HELO
9/10 when I win, my team was communicating. There's your measurement. 9/10 when I lose, no one owns a mic and they play like they're on Call of Duty.
So your method of measurement is checking whether you win or not? đ
TL:DR
And that's how you get SBMM in a game and ruin it. Look at rainbow six siege, call of duty, every single FPS THAT INCLUDES SBMM is utterly broken and not fun.
