Allow anyone to carry downed team mates wounded warrior style this could help get people to a far away medic and add a role play aspect if people want to use it.

I would love this. Probably should reward you with good amount of points if you(as a medic) or other medic revive them successfully, probably gonna be abused tho.

I don't know why people keep asking for that, think about it for a moment:

  1. You must run to the wounded
  2. pick him up this takes time and you are very vulnerable
  3. Carry him since you are slow and vulnerable
  4. bring him to a cover
  5. put him down
  6. get a medic
  7. give morphine
  8. bandage
all of that costs a lot of time and all of that under fire
this is so ineffective and time consuming that it would just be useless in the game.
apart from that the whole system has to be developed, programmed and built in and we have god knows much bigger problems in the game than that.

It's frustrating enough on times waiting for a medic to try and get to you to revive most the time they die trying or just run past you lol, it's quicker just to redeploy

Believe it or not some people play for fun @desert socket well I must say your name is accurate if you think everyone's definition of fun is the same thing over and over again with nothing different than any other fps game why cant tryhards accept the fact that there is no reason not to add this feature that you don't even need to use if you don't want to, some people play and try to stay alive like the game intends instead of spamming the respawn button because you want to play call of duty with a bigger map name one reason that this shouldn't be added besides "waste of dev time" or "nobody will use it" when you know darn well people will use it just like you can see people play medic despite it being useless.

I’ve wanted to drag a body to cover rather than deal with the immediate threat exactly zero times.

This would work only if we slow the game down more. Longer deployment time and a ticket system. That's why for example ppl in squad play medic.

  1. Pop smoke near or in front of the woundet.
  2. supressing fire on the Enemy mg, rifleman etc.
  3. drag teamm8 into save position.
    4.medic bandage him!
    Simple as that!
    And works in squad great!!!

I don't think this is going to work out because reviving is based on convenience and carrying someone over is not very convenient.

This would seem like a cool feature until you pick the guy up and there is no medic around.

Also detrimental because it takes one more gun out of the fight

I don't see why people get mad at people wanting medics role changed like HLL is a wide community of players and medics are a small amount of it and the act of reviving isn't as difficult or fiddly as people here are saying

I just suggested the ability for anyone to pick up a diwned player and carry them and all the tryhards that casually get angry chine in and start saying the same things over and over but they cant think of an explanation why this cant be a future addition when it's an optional thing that you don't even need to participate in. For some reason people think that a suggestion for a FUTURE UPDATE MEANS "immediately add this"
@sonic cradle precisely maybe it won't take that long that's a big maybe but that's what I mean.

Maybe come back to this in 5 years when all the bugs and performance is fixed

There’s just no point in developing a feature that >5% of the players in a game will use maybe once per game. Reviving someone virtually never makes a positive impact on the game. The game entirely revolves around making kills to gain ground to take spawns and ultimately create map control. Reviving someone doesn’t change that, so it changes even less if the medic can drag someone. No one competent is dragging a fallen teammate when they could be refragging them and taking ground away from the enemy.
