edit; perhaps making it so that you can actually turn, as in increase the turn speed

It's okay. It's a fun weapon to play with. I use it out once every 10 games or so for fun and I think that fits the game well.

Its not the STG. Make it viable and ppl will be crying for a nerf and rightfully so. I'd keep it as it is, tweak it ever so slightly if at all.

The fact that you can't hip-fire the flamethrower is what kills it for me. In its current state it's essentially unusable. The range is pathetic and the lack of hip-fire means nine times out of ten when you see an enemy they will draw and fire infinitely faster than you will.

The devs love to spout 'history accuracy' which we all know is a joke but c'mon... in reality a flammenwerfer had an effective range of roughly 25meters, american was 20-40. HLL? I'm pretty sure the spade has better reach. I absolutely get that you don't want them to be 'too good' or the game becomes an arcade joke but right now they're so awful it's rare to actually even see someone attempt use it.
