Everyone at this point knows El Alamein struggles to fit in the game well because of its huuuge sightlines, making snipers and MGs dominate the battlefield.
One thing I've now noticed however, earlier dev screenshots have shown the map to feature fog.
This overall gives the map a bit more of a dusty feeling, as well as providing a way of breaking the huge sightlines this map suffers from.
Most engagements on El Alamein I've noticed tend to be well above 300 sometimes going up to 400 meters. But players themselves stop rendering at around 500 meters.
I personally think a simple way this map could be improved is if some light fog is added to give it both that dustier look, as well as break up these huge sightlines.
(Also there used to be tunnels? can we get these back cause thats kinda cool)

Driel mainly in the hands of Andrew "Theel" Lett, Grytzen Jetze Veenstra and Fran G Castiglioni, but they joined in on El Alamein as well to create assets and setting up and final...

emoji_HLLCommendation and it could help alleviate performance issues with rendering! they should just do a remegan night or hurtgen night where the fog is somewhat cleared on the middle point

Another option is to add heat mirage that makes it harder for tanks and snipers to cross map snipe vehicles and people
