Some people just don't like change and complain even if they get what they want because its not good enough. Most people like it or are indifferent. Give it a few weeks when the dust settles and they'll realize how unimpactful on the overall gameplay the running speed increase actually is.

I can speak for the competitive side of things that the comp community is in favor of the speed increase, with the only question now being how to balance tanks around it.
