Will there be a SS team so you can put more battles in the game?

Will there be a SS team in the future so you can do, battle of the bulge, bridge too far, battles like that. I think they’d make for pretty good maps, but it would be historical inaccurate for just the Wehrmacht to be there

It wouldn't be historical inaccurate to portray german heer units that fought based on the HLL maps. Most maps in this are units of the wehrmacht. Only 3 maps the SS where in

Makes ww2 game ignores wermacht crimes as need a playable faction other group that are half criminal half conscripted I feel there's a gap here that could be used make it based on the conscripted units

i think its a good idea, just a little risky i think they are trying to avoid any backlash but then again you cant have a historical realistic mil-sim and not be historically accurate. i have a sneaky suspicion that the players who want historical accuracy and realist ww2 shooter experience dont want the same things and then there are both who do, anyways im saying we are a minority but it could happen.

The whole “devs will get backlash” is such a stupid excuse not to add SS, plenty of games have portrayed SS units to their fullest extent wether it be fictionalized or a more realistic portrayal, not including certain units in this game would be a slap in the face to historical accuracy. And tbh a majority of the people that play this game are not aware of half the historical significances of anything is this game, such as battles or uniforms or even weapons, they can barely tell two tanks apart I doubt any of them are gonna be able to tell two units apart 😂

All suggestions are compiled and forwarded on, regardless of my role or “connections”, but personally I think this is a slippery slope they’d be extremely hesitant or cautious to go down for obvious reasons.

I dont think they can even if they want to because Germany dosen't allow stuff like that in games and so the game would be ban in Germany which would suck for the German players also they could make 2 different versions of the game but thats to much work for a small team just to add the evil SS divisions

the law changed in 2018, they can depict things like the ss in movies and media, but there are always those who have issues with it. I dont understand why i mean if i had an issue with seeing things like the ss or red army/NKVD i would not be playing a ww2 game lol

I just want the cool Camoflages they used, if they don’t add them in an update they should at come out in a dev blog and say “hey we’re not adding any units or uniforms like the SS because…”

I highly doubt that not putting the ss in the game is going to make everyone forget what the ss did and then let it happen again. I don’t understand the issue of not wanting to play the biggest pieces of trash in history. If you really want to larp as the ss I’m sure you can find a game on Roblox to do it. Also I agree that the war crimes that the Soviets did were bad but two wrongs don’t make one wrong right.

Well i understand and i agree its its history But i am of the opinion that they have no place in hell let loose and its true that war crimes happen on all sides however none of the people who did them are in the game like how the NKVD Katyn massacre was a series of mass executions of nearly 22,000 polish soldier are not in the game its just the red army and marines DLC

The SS as a whole is not the same as the camp guard SS lol. There were SS divisions that barely committed war crimes and there were ones the committed severe war crimes. It just depends. Any side could be said the same for its a war. American and British both also committed war crimes dude. Not putting in the SS because a handful of them guarded camps is dumb, they fought in some of the toughest battles of WW2 and I think many would agree they have some of the coolest uniforms of the war.

Anybody who doesn't want the stuff in the game is just coping tbh because its a major part of WW2. Many other games have put the SS in as has been brought up and haven't been condemend and shot down lol. Even some COD games I recall having SS uniforms. Its just a uniform and every soldier in the game is fictional, the battles that take place are not real battles, its a simulation. No war crimes are being committed nor is civilians being killed, its just a mil-sim game and people who play it want it to be realistic, stop crying.
