When the new company took over, jury is still out on whether they meant the new skirmish mode or full dlc but context clues is pointing to only the new skirmish mode being by year

@kindred cloud Original game developer Black Matter have made all previous content, including upcoming british forces and maps (update 14).
Team 17 bought Hell Let Loose and published 2023 Roadmap for the game on YouTube. In that video they told their new plan is to keep game developement going with content of ww2 year by year starting from year 1939 (this year), beginning with winter war / Finnish forces.

@.X.#9425 I have to disagree, I understand the smaller game modes Objective and Skirmish is separate thing for those who are not able to take time for whole HLL match (Objective is coming earlier than Skirmish). I believe (and hope) they do this year by year thing full scale, including all game modes (warfare, offensive, objective and skirmish).

The Finnish likely aren't skirmish mode, their concept art has t26s, and only the Polish were mentioned as having smaller maps

I’m hoping for late war German city maps like Metz, Cologne, Nuremberg, and maybe Aachen. Would be very fun for urban fighting and tank fights

Yeah, like in Aachen, Driving up and pointing a Sherman barrel right through the front window of the Aachen Hotel to get the Germans to surrender or burning them out of the sewer would be fun

I know that, but imagine, German players in 109s, He 111s, 110s, and Do 17s fighting against British Spitfires, Hurricanes and Flak Units on the ground.

They said this with the release of the Roadmap. Each year IRL will involve T17 focusing on 1 year of the war. Currently we are in 1939-1940. Next year will be 1940-1941...so on and so forth. BM (The Original Publisher) just released maps based on demand. This will no longer be the case.

I’ve thought this as well. I think it would also be cool to implement some Volkstrum uniforms if it happened but wouldn’t be totally necessary.

I would love to raise the Soviet flag above the rubble of Berlin that would be great! Maybe the Germans could get another sub faction with the Volkstrum. Giving them a mix of weapons and maybe even some soviet weapons. I would love to see some of the last ditch weapons as well. Like the VG 2 or for a tank maybe like a the lil supply tractor with the pack 40 on it. Maybe a few pantherturms as well around the map

Add Volkssturm as a sub faction with new 3 news Volksturmgewehr 1-5, the Sten Copy 3005 and the VG2 aswell as Panzerfaust 60. 2 Maps could be Selow Heights and Reichstag
