They already said you'll be able to cross from the water, the water is shallow enough to cross through, and from the looks of the map, looks like we'll have more cover on the right and left sides of the map to cross

So...if you use your brain 2 minutes... You can see than the bridge is optional on the new map since you can walk in the water (some place)
