Soviets have access to the Scoped Mosin 91/30 and the Scoped SVT.

Americans have access to a Scoped M1903 Springfield only.

What is the point of capturing sectors in Warfare mode? I know you can do it, but why is it important to capture sectors and how does it relate to the actual strong points (black circle)?

and you can only ever capture 1 point at a time, so capturing one makes the one before it safe from capture.

Well, in order to best learn the game, I would start by looking at the Options screen, then the Key Bindings. Memorizing these is a start.

The Kar98k, much like the Mosin-Nagant, is a 5-round, bolt-action rifle.

The Americans get the M1 Garand, which is an 8-round, semi-auto rifle. Eventually, the M1 Carbine can be unlocked for some roles, which is a 15-round rifle.

Remember that most scale or fidelity-pushing games are typically not designed to target high refresh rates regardless of spec at native resolutions.

One must always assume that Minimum and Recommended requirements are either arbitrarily slapped on, or at best intended to target the industry standard of 720p60 Minimum and 1080p30-60 Recommended.

It may be desirable to see a game run at your display's full refresh rate, but never ever count on a recent game to.

Certainly not before trying it and seeing for yourself how well it performs in practice.

They're talking about the different squads, each squad leader has their own set of marks they can put down (infantry, enemy garrison, tank, etc.) but only certain roles will see other marks.

So to see other squads marks you have to be either the commander, infantry squad lead, recon squad lead or armor squad lead, to see the little dots from the recon plane all of those previous roles can see them but so can the infantry support player as well as the entire recon or armor squads.

The ping itself refers to the red triangle exclamation mark, except for the commander only the people inside of your squad will see that actual ping.

Eventually its all about the score you get (together with your squad?). Just playing will give you all sorts of scores and I'm sure kills count up to 'offensive/combat score'. But yeah as Jere said it's not the quickest way out there.

because engineer nodes give you passive constant exp that will generate for you the entire game. And it applies to your current class, not the engineering class.

Leveling up your roles is all about what you yourself do. Nodes generate a bunch of XP to level up with. Kills (and other things like vehicle kills, mines) count towards combat effectiveness. Being in the red zones count to offensive effectiveness, being in the blue zone counts towards defensive effectiveness, and various support things like nodes and OP/garrison spawns counts towards support effectiveness

Your squads score is what counts towards your career level XP. It's an accumulation of your whole squads effectiveness plus bonuses

Decent is relative, there's game knowledge and knowing how things work and then there's being good at pixel hunting, or being good at specific parts of the game like armor, or different seats in the vehicles in particular.

i'd say anywhere from 50-100hrs to get to a point where you have a rough idea of what's going on, where you need to be, and how to be effective

Helps quite a bit to get into the habit of pulling up your map periodically and seeing what's going on, are you capturing their point, is your point being captured, where is the rest of your team, what OPs/garrys are pinging, etc.

It'll really help you keep a grasp on what's happening, and then you'll notice things like hey, our point is half captured right now, but there are still a ton of guys in enemy territory, points are captured at a constant rate it isn't dependent on how many people are in there (bodies only start or stop the capture, not accelerate it) so if you're already being captured you can't win that cap race unless you also defend your point.

That's one of those things where you'll see people screaming at the team in text chat to fall back, because instead of simply delaying your attack for a few minutes potentially to stabilize, instead you lose your point and all of your OPs/garrys/nodes in those sectors and have to start from scratch.

and I believe it's a 2 minute window to fully capture a point in warfare if it isn't contested, so there's time to fall back, redeploy, walk back, whatever but you have to do it when the situation develops, not when there's a sliver of blue left on your capture bar.

More often than not, we are able to fill squads and we've developed close relationships this way. We communicate on discord to let others know when we'll be online. It's not often we have to play"alone". Using these methods, we have regular squads that play together and our group seem to always turn the tide of battle. Communication really is key.

The best thing about the observe mark is it gives you a way to mark the map that doesn't clutter the map for any other squad but the commander.

So you can have one real tank mark out on the map, and then every other interested squad can drop the observe, instead of 8 other squads dropping a tank mark on the same spot and nobody knowing what squad actually saw the tank and who to ask about it for further information or for updated marks.

You know when a recon goes over and suddenly there are 10 tank marks up? That is not good.

Yep, good plan. As tank commander, my method is to drop attack and observe on potential tanks.

Once I accurately confirm the location of enemy tanks, I will use the tank marker for my crew.

Sometimes I'll also use observe and defend (or similar) as boundaries - gunner, enemy tank somewhere between observe and defend. Keep your eyes peeled.

“Non-fungible token”. Fungible tokens are equivalent - for example one Dogecoin can be exchanged with another Dogecoin and nobody cares. NFTs are not equivalent like that and are unique in some identifying way. They can also contain data. People found this makes them a good vehicle for asserting ownership of something (like a piece of art).

Short version: a certificate that says you own something.

Depends on your squad focus. Defensive squads head to friendly points or sectors that need garrison, while offensive does the opposite. Support squads move trucks and support equipment around and artillery squad seems pretty obvious.

Sector is the active objectives quadrant, comprised of the four smaller boxes on the map, roughly 400m x 400m.
Hardpoint, or "strongpoint" as it's usually called is the circle located somewhere within the active objectives quadrant.

A soldiers presence (their 'weight' in capturing an objective) is increased 3x when they are within the strongpoint circle compared to when they are outside of the circle, which leads people to contest over that particular area more as it is worth more to be inside of compared to the rest of the Sector.
Keep in mind that the speed at which a team captures an objective doesn't ever change, it goes up or down in a constant speed regardless of how many players are currently in it. Whichever team has a higher soldier 'weight' inside of the total quadrant is the team that will start to capture.
