If a server is at 98/100 but has 2 vip slots, those last 2 slots will be reserved for VIPs so it is "full"

Plus your server browser doesn't refresh information instantly so if a server is showing to have 95 players it might just be at 100 by the time you attempt to join it

at bare minimum just do some research on the controls and mechanics of the role. theres a lot of important information youll have to communicate other than just placing garries and ops. then once you see all youll have to do then i dont see an issue with you taking SL

I was just playing a round and everyone got mad at this commander dude cause he wasnt experienced enough he said it was his 2nd time and he wasnt "settled in" ill say. How does one learn commander well without making a team pissed about having a bad commander? Cause like 3 commanders kept saying that he wasnt doing great and he should switch. A good commander listens to the team's needs. For example, if a tank crew asks for a heavy to push back infantry and enemy tanks, the commander, if possible, would probably make one spawn.

Honestly, when I first played commander first couple times, I simply asked them what they wanted, and how do I do it. The squad leads were great to me and we won.

Commander is the greatest tool in HLL honestly, without commander you cannot really get more supplies

It helps if you're a good squad leader first. So you can understand how the cap points work, and where to place garrisons. You don't want to build red zone garrisons close to their cap point, for example, they'll just be permanently locked out.

ive won an entire match without a commander before. Forgot which map but we were the germans and we just needed to hold an open field with 1 road. It was the most fun in a match ive had in a match tbh. My entire squad was talking i had an mg dude who actually listened to suggested locations and we mowed the americans down. You can win without commander its just harder (we ofc had commander for like 5 mins in the middle of the game who then did 1 bombing run and left)

It is... to a degree but mics are SUPER useful.

You can ping, with different pings, but giving more specifics is better.

Like you can ping and say "It's infantry" but just a ping could be you're trying to figure out distance, it's infantry, it's a tank, it's a vehicle, etc.

so, i wasn't able to fix the microphone check problem, but i got my voip working in game, the default volume of everything is awful i had to max out both my own mic volume as well as all inbound voip to even remotely hear people

so i can now hear people, and they hear me, though its at a low volume even with everything maxed

G43, Garand, and SVT all do the exact same damage at the same ranges. Only difference is sights and ammo count. And really you're just one tapping most people so sights aren't that important

Just find cover, watch for movement, move to next cover. Play close to your team and call out where you're shot from if you die so it can be traded. Death is information

snipers are only allowed in "recon" squads and are hard limited per team, and don't really play like how you expect, you go around with your spotter using flares and such, not just hiding off sniping people

thats limited by consoles, its up to the console devs if they wanna support it, its why crossplay is so limited, the games that do have it pay a fortune to have it, sony/microsoft charge a ton to have it
