There are some people that claim the perfomance is bad even on 4090's, but no clue how factual that is, since there's a gazillion variables in that

There are tons of variables. I cap my FPS to 165 with the 6800XT. Some maps perform worse like Stalingrad or Carentan, which will be around 120 FPS in some areas.

It was also much shorter in my case and yet I received an official warning from an unnamed HLL mod straight away. 🫤 (I found that warning baseless though, felt unnecessary and therefore more like an admin abuse tbh 😶 )

It would be his system's/setup fault if only the mic would have stopped working, but not when whole VOIP gets disconnected and verified as "disconnected" in the sound options. And especially not when that happens in waves to multiple players in the server or even to all players in the server.

VOIP crashing sometimes wouldn't be a problem if the "reconnect" button in the in-game options actually worked. But it hasn't worked for about a year already and the devs haven't even decided to look into it in whole that time period.

yea but in this game there's no difference in movement compared to something like cod where a good kbm player has a significant edge over a good controller player.
The only real difference is in the accuracy and ads , but even there you dont get into close quarter fights that often, and you take more time to aim so i would say for this game there wouldnt be that much of a difference if a kbm player was to go head to head with a controller player

now if we're talking about fast paced shooters, such as cod and r6, where you actually need to be able to flick on people and you need the movement/aim, there is no comparison between a good kbm player and a controller player

GPU maxing out is fine. 6th gen i7 is a quad-core and will be hammered by this game - which will show stuttering. The game does already have natural performance issues as well. A 1060 6GB is fine imo

I ran the game on a GTX 970 back in the day and didn’t have many issues; my largest performance improvements came from going to an SSD and then upgrading from a 9th gen i5 to a 7800X3D

And I still get stutters from time to time

Task manager isn’t the best for monitoring hardware usage as well; I’d use something like MSI Afterburner or Intel’s Presentmon for more accurate reporting and figuring out if there’s a bottleneck somewhere

The game also objectively runs worse the more people are in the server at any point

Munitions and manpower have a yellow circle. This is because the manpower nodes removes 2.5 minutes from your supply box cooldown as support, and the munitions node does the same for ammo and medical boxes. Fuel node doesn't have a yellow circle because it has no additional use other than resources for the commander

when it comes to the rest of the defenses and stuff the squad leader can let you know what should be placed where

obviously put mines in chokepoints

and hedgehogs/gates in chokepoints to stop vehicles

barbed wire can block infantry and funnel them into killzones

about the nodes: drop the supplies in the third square, next to the edge of the second square, and make the munitions, fuel and manpower Nodes in the second square. Nodes are the most important thing and you get the most xp out of all players if you build nodes(overtime in the match)

i usually play most games on about 110-120 fov, but on hell let loose i play on 75 fov

helps performance too

I wish that was a thing in official servers, looks like a good managed community server.

The Officer is an important role providing communication with the rest of the team and the commander, able to also help with building garrisons(spawn points). They are encouraging with an iron rod for someone to take initiative.

Oh, my bad. That I do not know, the game seems to believe you have no bind for it since next to yes is no assigned key but based on what you are saying it should be 9.

You may want to check your settings again and see if the game did not randomly decide it wanted to not have those binds anymore.

If that fails, it may be a classic HLL moment and it will be your reminder for the foreseeable match.

You should get your SL to use their binoculars to see the enemy if your on defensive MG. It helps a lot

Also make sure your in a position that your not standing out in like a wall
