Supplies which are used to build things are different from munitions at the top of the map, which is used by commander. Supplies are dropped by either a supply truck, air drop, or a support player’s crate

You’ll need supplies dropped in the close vicinity where you want to build the gun. Once you’re close enough to them, they’ll be visible on your hud

Whichever team has more cap weight than the other will either be capturing (if they're attacking) holding (if they're defending), and if it's contested that should mean that it's equal weight, otherwise the bar will be going one way or the other

on offensive you have to be in the circle to count, on warfare you can either be in the circle (you count as 3 players) or in the 4 touching squares around it

Look for a server that has between 40-80 people in the region you're playing in (just sort by ping) if it's not off times it should fill up quickly but you won't have to fight the queue

Official servers are unmoderated, if they're on private servers outside of using cheats which EAC can catch there's no real recourse, you can't tell someone how they can play on private servers

When someone dies, that means someone saw them, since artillery usually instant kills, same thing with a tank. They'll see you too.

Then you'll die.

The FIRST rule of triple c, or combat care under fire, is to return fire.

It's extremely situational.

It is 90% of the time faster to respawn and relocate troops.

if your commander and squad leads are doing their job then you should have around 3 garrisons in a triangle effect around whatever point your holding/pushing

@fallow grove I'm sure in the realm of "youtube quality content" it's cool or just bragging rights, but in the reality of actually winning the game it's less effective.

You will unironically be doing more of a service to your team by playing artillery

or being in a tank crew

or that one guy who plays engineers and builds things other than nodes then swapping

@tall grotto while I agree with some of your points, the ones about artillery and tanks (unless they are using their machine gun) are moot since you can’t revive people killed by explosions. The most kills I’ve had in the game was actually on artillery with a group of squads calling out where my rounds were landing and providing artillery fire markers for me to aim at. And at the end of the day, you want to win, but you also want to have fun… it’s a game, not actual war. Also keep in mind, I’m playing on console. While I do love the game, it has many shortcomings vs PC… the major one is there are very few true tactical shooters out of console, so there’s a smaller player base of people who are used to that kind of game (getting a good commander isn’t super common… we sometimes have commanders who won’t even use comms). Then there’s the whole controller issue which makes aiming a nightmare… specifically anything that requires minor adjustments. Lol it’s still a fun game, but sometimes it’s nice to switch it up and go the Desmond Doss route! Haha

I've been playing as supplier role a lot lately and wanted to know how the supplies actually work.

Do the supplies just need to be placed down in a location where something will be built or do other roles just walk over the supplies to collect and hold it in their inventory for later use?

Place supplies down on the floor. They can’t be moved once placed, they can’t be picked up by anyone.

There is a 50 metre radius around those dropped supplies where they can be used, either in-part or in their entirety. Same rule for truck supply drops or commander supply drops.

If you place another box before the old box is completely used, the old box disappears. So you can only have one box down at a time.

How serious is the "truck driving" to HLL? I've been looking into this game since a "recruiting poster" (user artwork really) was posted in a Truck Simulator forum

It's automatic. You drive to point A to point B, you can phase through stone walls.. It's nothing special, only reason I imagine that was posted on your forum is because logi is important in HLL. So, that's a definite no from me, if you're only in it for trucking.
