To all that plays Competitive Tankers do you think Tank Commander should drive or spot why?

Tank Commander should always be spotter. Why? He has full access to pings/recon, he is able to control the situation far better than anyone can. Driver can’t see behind him, gunner takes a long time to see behind him. Spotter can look around on a 24/7 basis and make decisions accordingly. And TYPICALLY the tank commander is the most knowledgeable when it comes to the maps and tactics.

We are a dedicated squad (so small scale) that plays (almost) every evening between 19:00 and 21:30 timezone GMT+1 on PC.
