CS2 is no different at all. They're everywhere.

We're gonna have to disagree based on experience

Counter strike in theory kicks butt, just like Tarkov, but in practice you can't play very long till you get hackers in your lobbies that completely screw everything over.
These aren't new things either, so any update or whatever else copium people try and spread, it's never worked.

Counter strike's been like the long-time running OG for the cheat market. Ever since pub servers mostly got replaced by official matchmaking servers the issue's only flown more to the surface, since many pub servers used to and still run various kinds of shared banlists.
On top of that, just like here in HLL, community servers always have way more responsive administer actions being taken than Valve at any reasonable capacity.

It's gotten to the point where we have literal websites to input peoples steam profiles, so it reads match history data and gives you an estimation whether or not people are hacking and if it's worth even trying to play the match you're in.
I specifically remember one website which was very easy to do this, cause the idea was that you do it via Steam's overlay during a match.

Even previously gated communities such as FaceIT and ESEA have been plagued with hackers all the way to the top of the leaderboards and gated events that they hold for new comp scene talent.
Crap, I mean we've even had a good amount of confirmed 100% w/o a doubt cheaters get to the majors...

Best part was Valorant jumping on the scene with it's kernel-level anticheat and, drum roll please.....
it didn't help one bit. Still have hackers everywhere and they're still easily accessible by anyone with 2 brain cells

and most of the times you won't even notice and think you ever found just 1 cheater, when in reality you've come across a sht ton of them thanks to easy to hide cheats like silent auto aimbot cheats get more advanced everyday, but vac stays the same and sometimes bans a guy for using an outdated cheat from 2012

or they can just press their numpads and instantly turn on and off their cheats, sometimes they'll headshot you while running with an AK or know where you are, but the next time you find them they'll be clueless about your existance

In community servers admins can at least spectate them. Whilst the accuracy % in those bans might not be 100%.
I rather have a small chance of getting false banned -> do a unban request and get it sorted, then have 0 moderation against it at all.

The only setting that actually does something here is -dx12, the rest is just copypasta.

The option to use DX12 was built into the game sometime last year, I actually believe it's used by default nowadays but you'd have to check.

It's also worth mentioning that, although it increases FPS, it is also known to cause additional micro-stutters.

actually the it was a tactic the Army used commonly. They’d set a FOB in an area, clear large areas of forests around and expect contact.

They’d intentionally use FSBs bases to draw out forces and when they are in the clearing between the base and forests artillery would rain down

US never lost a base and it was a extremely successful tactic

The nva and vc definitely would have attacked some fire bases but I highly doubt theyd have used wave tactics

It was used but not common. However these fire bases were placed strategically where they had to take them out or a large area would be barricaded off, as such is was common for large wave tactics by the North Vietnamese. Especially early in the war.

Do not forget, Vietnam was in the Cold War era and they were heavily ran by Soviet military codes which the wave tactic was an extremely viable and successful tactic. Now the Vietcong however, commonly used quick strikes and ambushes.
