I wouldnt say the asset flipping was the major problem. Foy isnt exactly a distinct town and Hurtgen had very few towns around. Plus there was still a lot of detail put in to get the layouts right. The screws only really started to come loose after Carentan when BM just gave up trying to balance the US and Axis and started handing out smgs like candy

Before then the biggest historical issues were really in the "who cares" territory.

I found ECL myself earlier but as far as I can tell from the rules we need 39-49 players, and we are a rather small group able to fill one maybe two squads.

Blitz Bash consisted of several clans signing up for a number of squads depending on how many players they would have available on the day. So each side would be several clans with one commander setting up the tactic.
It was really nice for smaller clans to be able to participate like that.

Yo it's my game that's broken, I got error code 11 after fenagling with eac but then I just bypassed the start issue by starting in command prompt, after that another issue, stuck on the loading screen where a guy looks out onto the battlefield

I believe it's an easy anti cheat issue but irdk

Depends. Usually they give a warning and have some kinda in game api or command that kicks you back to squad select. Some are just no warning as rules are posted in your face and sometimes you have to click a key to even play

If you don’t lock your crew and waiting for people to join, there are ‘free’ light or recon tanks available to use while you wait. Although if you don’t know what your doing just don’t touch them at all if your alone. Be considerate about the fuel situation and available tanks, don’t take them alone if fuel is low and your team has a (few) other crews.

The problem with conquest is

1. There are too many objectives that spreads out teams instead of focuses them
2. The spawn density is lacking, this is compounded with how fast the objectives flip and wipe every spawn
3. In the prior iteration of conquest that we saw the back objective would fully block out the row which caused a further lack of spawns for the "home side" team. So once that was captured it was nearly impossible to get any spawns back up bc ur hq would just get camped
