I get where y'all are coming from with all the uniform points and tanks not being in X year points, but at the end of the day guys, it's all about the gameplay.
So whilst some tank might've not been in that specific place at that specific time, if it plays well it has to be there. Can't throw new tanks in left and right just because of time periods.
I'll agree, that these are things they can come back to and work on when they have the time for it. But seeing how outsourced and what not the project is as a whole, I don't see it happening. So they rather feed new content than rework (in a big way) or add stuff for old things.

I mean how many /proper/ matches on the new Remagen have been played? 20? There's no serious data to check

The meat grind aspect of the map was what made it unique. All I was hoping they did was make the middle point the forever hardpoint with some additions to the map would have been fine but not adding bridges

That's the thing, we don't fully know yet. It might make it better it might not.

All we have is theory right now.

Cause the current re-design for most people giving takes on it, is 1:1 the same logic of new players giving takes on Foy

All new players despise Foy, since they don't know how to play it. They feel like it's a flat field running simulator where they always die and tanks just spawn kill them. When in reality, it's a pretty good map that requires precise knowledge of garry spots and openings in the enemies lines to execute quick maneuvers to capture points.

That’s another thing, Remagen was always going to be a bad choice because it doesn’t fit HLL’s gameplay. Remagen was taken IRL because the Germans barely had any heavy guns to defend with so the Americans didn’t have to deal with AT guns, tanks, rockets, etc. it was never going to work in game and I doubt adding more bridges will work but we’ll see

I just hope they keep 2 variants of the map so we can still get the one bridge feel and it’s not lost forever because little Timmy thought the game, played for an hour, and said the map is bad because he couldn’t adapt just like on foy

The current one was just straight up booty. It's either:
#hope you get across the bridge itself, because you had a mg/tank shooting from the side (usually favouring the germans obv)
or
Airhead.

But since airheads were so easy to defend against, as long as your average team level wasn't under 100 it became a snooze fest.
Not to mention the obv arty spam yada yada.

I can't guarantee 2 more crossings will be the solution, but damn sure will be better than anything now. So as long as it takes the map out of unplayable and gets it to the bottom of the playable tier, it's better than it was yesterday.

I'm really happy they at least decided to improve a tiny bit on the markers based off #1098158460463480842.

Most of the valid attack angles for caps consist of placing a garry in a flat field... It sucks

So if you are donating to them for some magical vip then you gotta' ask in their discord. no clue where you can get it from.

Next, usually when having some Patreon thing set up, you need to link your account somehow.

@olive slate The downward trend of HLL is not tied to T17 alone necessarily. It's simply a game that's heading towards its end so development starts slowing down before coming to a stop (slowly). That won't be the end of HLL because - like I said - as long as there are players who enjoy it, there will be full servers, but it's just natural for any game to reach its end at some point.

I've discussed it before a bit, but I've never seen a shooter game where foilage is done properly in a way where it's 100% fair for everyone and there's no LoD, graphic setting or some kind of other exploits giving an advantage or being an annoyance.

And what kind of SSD do you have? I know that HLL depends a lot on the SSD, and a SATA SSD isn't the same as SSDs that uses the M.2 port. In my case I have an M.2 nvme gen4 and when I join a server it takes about 10 seconds
