So one of my old schoolmates got a new pc recently and sent a pic the other day of him playing HLL.
He sends a screenie of the map. They're playing PHL.

I told him his teams garry placement sucks...

He responds with: "I don't worry about the tactical aspects, I'm only here for the atmosphere and combat"

So I told him to stick to official servers only - didn't provide a reason.

Then he goes on: "oh yeah, I play everywhere. If my officer asks to defend, I defend, but I don't go build nodes, make garrisons or any of that stuff. I don't like looking at the map."

That right there is why the game is sucking 7/10 matches

I’m writing this because the current Xbox voice chat issue in Hell Let Loose has reached a point where it’s no longer just a technical inconvenience — it’s actively preventing me from participating in the game and community I’ve been part of for years.

I’ve played Hell Let Loose competitively for a long time. I’m part of a clan’s leadership, I help organise games, lead squads, and mentor newer players. Communication isn’t optional in HLL — it is the game. Strategy, coordination, leadership, and teamwork all depend on it.

Right now, in-game voice chat on Xbox works for one match only after a full console reset. As soon as that match ends, all voice chat stops completely — no proxy, unit, or command. There are no indicators, no audio, and no way to recover voice without another full reset. This behaviour is consistent and fully reproducible.

I’ve exhausted every troubleshooting step available:
• Full uninstall and reinstall
• Full factory reset (keeping games and apps)
• Clearing Alternate MAC address
• Hard power cycles
• Multiple headsets
• Open NAT confirmed
• In-game settings verified
• Xbox Party Chat works normally

The fact that voice chat works briefly after a reset and then fails every time after a match transition strongly suggests a Vivox session persistence or authentication failure on Xbox, not a hardware, network, or user-side issue.

What’s most frustrating is that this bug effectively sidelines players like me — people who lead squads, run competitive matches, and help sustain the community. I’m forced to either play silently, abandon leadership roles, or reset my entire console after every single match, which simply isn’t realistic and is not possible for comp games!

Hell Let Loose is more than “just a game” to many of us. It’s the community we’ve built, the friends we’ve made, and the teamwork that keeps people coming back. When core systems like voice fail this badly, it doesn’t just hurt gameplay — it pushes committed players away, no wonder players are getting sick of the game.

I’m asking for:
• Acknowledgement that this is a known Xbox/Vivox issue
• Clarification on whether this can be resolved at an account or server level
• Transparency on whether a fix is planned or being actively worked on.

May I add that Your troubleshooting for VoIP website for console doesn’t work through this discord.

I’m happy to provide logs, timestamps, or additional testing if that helps. I just want to be able to play, lead, and communicate again.

I apologise if I’ve misunderstood any part of this, but I shouldn’t have to discover a critical voice chat failure on my own after exhausting every possible troubleshooting step.

In Windows type the word Optimize in search open the Defrag tool it will show if you drives are HDD = Hard Disk Drive or SSD = Solid State Drive. Hey, guys, I bought the game yesterday and I still couldn't play it because it keeps crashing. I tried it on both Windows and Linux.

Pak chunk signature error implies an installation error and the solution is to reinstall the corrupted file. Verifying file integrity might pick up on the faulty file, or it might not. The safer option is to delete the file first before verifying, or reinstall the game altogether if your disk is particularly slow.

My disk is not slow, but it takes at least 1 hours to do it on steam. It is a Samsung 960 EVO, but it is small that I use only for windows and for this game

Note that if your disk is nearly full, it might install it onto another, potentially slower disk first before moving everything over to the disk you want to install it on.

i play it for realism yes, i play it for social communication because that’s a major part of this whole game if it isn’t for communicating it would be as much fun its a core mechanic

having 1 server where there could be a mixed group of console and pc wouldn’t hurt the community as a whole it would just allow for the small group of people to play together which could result in a higher play count and a bigger interest in the game there is nothing bad about. the argument that “pc plsyer will always have an advantage” would be obsolete because it would be a choice to play on that server not forced

I know PC all the person has to do is hit a VC button (defaults being X, C, and V) and it goes away. Simple fix, it has happened to me too. It's usually from chatting end of game in VC and it thinks you are still in a chat.

The kd and kpm doesn't tell you everything.
One of those is a match on foy where I commanded a tank where we got 150 kills, 9 slawnpoints (the majority were red zone garrisons) and only lost two tanks (the first medium tank survived almost an hour) and we still lost.

That's how bad of a skill issue I'm suffering lately.

My only win recently I remember was as commander defending in offensive mode where we held the draw for 30minutes
