In any case, move from cover to cover, stick to your team mates, scan the surrounding areas for enemies prior to moving and - very important in my eyes - memorise weapon sounds so you can already tell by the audio whether there's friends or foes around you

Yes it’s fine to allow it. I had this issue yesterday. If you remove the file in windef and verify game files on steam it adds back the exact same file. Allow it and game will boot as normal. It’s a false flag on binaries file.

Be sure you have nothing running in your system tray. You probably have something conflicting with EAC. Delete your Steam Download Cache. Once back into Steam do a Check for Steam Client Updates. You may or may not have any. Be sure your Date\Time are correct and set to Automatic and synced to the Internet. Go into the Easyanticheat folder and Right Click on easyanticheat_EOS_setup.exe file and choose Run as Administrator. Should just blink and appear to do nothing. If you get prompted click Yes.

You may also be getting the latest issue where Windows Defender is blocking but not getting prompted unless you use a third party AV\Firewall software which too could be conflicting with EAC. You can check Windows Defender if you are only using it and check blocked history and then choose action for the game exe and allow or exclude.

Windows defender is only able to detect and work against known malicious code and attack vectors. Smart app control denies anything that isn't already verified as legit from being able to run period

With this artillery mode, sorry, but you’ve made a mess. I mean, if one artillery squad sets up the artillery, the other squad can’t use it—or if it’s a bug, I don’t know. We basically end up with people running around the map just for the flare, and there’s no way for those who actually want to be artillery gunners to use the artillery. In short, it’s a disaster. You should have split things up. The SPA should have had its own squad, and pure artillery—just the gunner—should have had its own separate one.

you cant maintain a coherent state, its too expensive
so games make a best effort (hll is especially bad at this:)
so basically every client has its state and the server has a state that tries to approximate what happens
the server state is waht matters at the end of the day

How? Literally only one thing can happen when i shoot with a kar, which is - a kar bullet bullet coming out. And it can (according to you) only do one thing when it hits - which is KILL. Logically why would the game ever think that the bullet is not going to kill? I genuinely cant comprehend it.

the server sees a different state and the other client yet another one
the server state is what matters

imagine there is three timelines happening at once:
Your timeline
the other players timeline
and the servers timeline

They all have to try their best to sync up so its all the same, unfortunately due to how online connections work their is sometimes a delay in certain things

the server is the main timeline and determines if someone is killed

From your perspective you shoot a guy, it hits there is blood and you hear the hitsound

But from the servers perspective, the player you shot at was just a bit ahead and you miss therefore he isnt dead

From the other players perspective he wasnt hit because he was just a bit ahead just like the server recognises.

but that can apply both ways, you might run behind cover and still end up dying
because from another players perspective you werent behind that bit of cover yet when they shot you and the server happened to agree with that set of events
as a very simplified way of putting it
