The attack last week wasn't just on HLL but on the some of the server providers and their protection networks. From their understanding, this was aimed at the gaming community and they have seen impact across other titles as well. That being said, there has been an increase in attacks recently on HLL and the GSPs are working with cybersecurity companies to create improved mechanisms to block these attacks and protect the networks. I know that Qonzer are releasing a statement later today, and we'll be going out with something from other GSPs on the situation. Hope this helps clarify the situation 🙂

Although DDoSing issues on the server providers is one of them, there have also been issues in the game such as the PhysX issue that was causing major client and server crashing that we resolved in Hotfix 2. We'll be going out with Hotfix 3 soon that will be targeting some more of the issues identified by the community, and we are working to ensure that all other issues that we can resolve from our end will be implemented with the release of Update 19.

The PTE this weekend is aimed to get as much feedback from the community on the new map and SPAs so that issues that we saw in Update 18 won't be repeated. We hope that as many of you can jump into the playtest as possible as we can't wait to hear your feedback on the new map.

If you want to level up then start the game as engineer, build nodes, and then spend the rest of the game delivering supplies to objectives as the class you want to level up

Engineer level 1 builds nodes. It takes 150 total supplies - which you can get from a supply truck (150 in a crate), supply drop (100 supplies), and support player (50 supplies)

If you want but it’s not recommended. If you want to play as artillery then you should be playing rifleman as engineer is a very strong class for attack and defense

Nodes generates munition, man power, and fuel. Munition is used in firing, but also for command abilities. It's 3 for a HE shell, 5 for smoke I believe?

Well, you need 2 people if you want quick firing. One does the bulk of the aiming and firing, while the other reloads and helps turn the gun. If you solo, you have to switch seats to reload.

And I'd say if you're trying to do stuff in VC, be a locked infantry squad (solo/duo?) so you can communicate with command chat.

Also, probably watch some gameplay of it to understand better before hopping in and screwing the team over 😅

As we previously mentioned, the PhysX issue that plagued the early part of U18 was so unique that in a QA environment it may never have been discovered. It was only on a live-server did it come to a head. Hence why we also couldn't roll-back as it would have caused issues in the long run had we not been able to find it and fix the issue as we did in Hotfix 2.

A variety of reasons have been mentioned, many of which boil down to server files getting into the hands of bad faith actors.

But also things like certification processes are much easier when there's only a few professional parties that you have to interact with

The only thing it does well is hide whichever side you're on

Whatever unreal engine does for shading means the infantry ends up getting rendered darker than the environment at any appreciable distance

So your white camo appears more like a dark grey spec which is almost as easy to spot
