We need the 75 heavy to not apply to the 2 heavy limit. It's going to be indefensible to request it if it means you can only have a single 76 (i.e. heavy killer) on the field. Before, if you had two 76s on the field you could meme the 75 as the third tank but now it doesn't work unless they have no armor squads.
can confirm you can spawn 2 heavies. So 2 heavies of the same kind is possible
however the 75 jumbo DOES impact your overall heavy count

Start with 500 fuel, get fuel nodes within the first minute, 1100 fuel + 300 from encourage at 10 minutes in. Before converting to fuel. So 2 heavies at 10 minutes is doable

I think the problem here is most factions need to be able to spawn 2 heavies at any given time.
With a time limit on the vehicle itself this puts all factions with a single heavy tank at a disadvantage from germans (panther/tiger)
USA: 76 jumbo (only one i consider an actual heavy)
British: Churchill (except driel you get firefly which is best heavy tank in the game atm)
Russians: IS-1

Yea they are OP, and now with you driving slower on certain terrain you will be satcheled more often because of the slow down, hence making tank play unplayable still even with the boosts and upgrades

health, mobility doesnt really matter in HLL especially now with turret rotation and how small the maps are (compared to real life where it probably did in fact matter among other factors)

Dude, most guys that play Engineer are building nodes and then changing for the satchel loadout for the rest of the game, almost nobody wants to stay with the repair one because the main gun is hard to use (Specially in the German side, I hate the Kar98... ).

There's very little incentive for any teamplay around tanks unless your pushing a static objective. Tanks get focused too so it's rough

I think this can be applied to alot of different things in HLL
Would like to see a holistic approach of more mechanics working cross functional with eachother that 1. create fun gameplay loops without taking away from "immersion" and 2. add value to the team in some way

It's because everything about tank gameplay is at odds with what the game essentially forces you to do in order to win, what literally everybody else on the team is trying to do. compared to its tanks.
It doesn't matter how tight up they dial in these behind the hood numbers with tank traits, it's completely contradictory to HLLs gameplay. And the devs have no idea
Would make medium tanks more viable if they also worked as a spawn point for a single officer from a squad that has taken that "seat". Long respawn time, and they'd still need to make an OP for their squad. Maybe turn the engine off to do it, just like with a halftrack.

Now this is great! Creative and efficient! It definitely gets very annoying with all the wrecks blocking roads and bridges and forces us, the tankers, to clear them. Now that any infantrymen (at least with a hammer) can clear them, for their own personal benefit and the benefit of the team as a whole sounds great!
I canโt wait to roll up to the enemy HQ in my Stuart with my two technicians and destroy all their vehicles and harvest them for parts to help the other tankers.

if you are german its easy, just sort by ping and look for "mic required"
Letโs assess the HQs: 4 trucks.. 50 fuel apiece. A recon tank.. 100 fuel I believe, a light tank.. 150 fuel I believe, a medium tank.. 200 fuel I believe.
That totals up to 65 fuel + whatever goodies the commander left as presents. Most heavies will be 60 fuel in themselves.
Seems somewhat viable.. to afford another recon tank at least.

I just joined Blueberry Dreams with 75 players, no issues.
I might be connecting now but something odd is definitely going on. I saw the HD7 server hover around the low 90โs with 11/2 VIP and 6/6 queue, then it crashed to 0 players, 6/6 queue, then kept me in a spinning โconnectingโ loop for a few mins before I rebooted the game. Sitting in queue nowโฆ.

I just got back and I just got to read the changelong. Like... why the heck are the devs adding information who killed us after every death?
One more thing that puts HLL even more away from being an actual hardcore realism oriented shooter.

- On the other hand, the new CMD's artillery strike seems to be the 1st good move towards removing the arty guns from the map (hopefully). But I would have expected the CMD would be able to set the amount of shells, dispersion, maybe speed of firing and ofc the size of the barraged area. Nothing of such seems to be the thing. Cheap solution, hopefully it will get deepened.
- Invite-only locked unit... OK, but more we needed the ability to keep our squad open but be able to kick+blacklist players from being able to re-join it. Once more, half-way done job. ๐ Also, still no squad management while alive as SL.
Just a detail in this case:
"The supply box cannot be picked up if any of the supplies have been used (subject to change)"
and then there is
"If a percentage of supplies have been used, a portion of the cooldown is reimbursed to the player relative to the amount of supplies remaining"

The armor stuff is full of good surprises imo, technician load out seems a lot better then thinker. Being able to build a limited supply depot is great, hopefully it can also be destroyed tho. Itโs big and visible and should be for all that extra ammo. I assume we can only build this in friendly territory too? I do wonder what the small variations in hull health will mean for the heavy tanks. Seems to small to matter, but maybe it means some heavies will need to take an extra hit from light or recon tanks.
I just hope the tank will be rearm-able only if it is not geting hit or if it shoots... on those buildable rearm stations.
And the same should go for tank movement too and also in case of repairs.
There are good stuffs in this update, however the weight of the bad stuffs is just too big to ignore.
I would like to finally know what is their plan when it comes to the resource nodes. If they want to remove them, they should do it straight away. If that's not the intention, they should share at least the rough plans. (salvaging fuel from the wreckages could have been an automated fuel node feature for instance, that's what made me wonder about the topic)

Never made sense why a tank with destroyed tracks is still able to move to begin with. And now the heavier tanks are getting even faster and with more tracks health...

one of the causes is the relatively unlimited ammo - new rockets & satchels with each redeployment/death -> makes rockets cheap -> "makes" the devs require more of them to kill a tank <------ instead of making the ammo matter

More like quantity of changes over the quality of the idea behind them.
As I say though - there are good QoL stuffs/features in this update, however the bad stuffs put the good stuff into a too dark shadow.
The only possibly bad thing I see is the heavy tank imbalance, but even that got me intrigued since it might be actually interesting to play against 2 heavies when you only have 1 real heavy available. We'll see how it exactly works, but US and Soviets will have to spend their fuel elsewhere. It's like a boss fight, you know?
What about the info about our killer & weapon? It's way too much unnecessary hand-holding.

just now you don't need to pay attention to the sounds
and with knowing the name right away, once again - adjusting the tactics
maybe. maybe it helps people understand the sounds better. "what was that sound? oh, that"
if I will see I got killed by a low LVL, I won't care. If I see I will get killed by a high LVL, I automatically change the tactics. Knowing the name means I can check it on the scoreboard and get the killer's LVL.

the sounds are almost the same 1st person like 3rd person (=> not hard to learn the gun sounds), they don't need the text to show them what they were killed with
as I say - unnecessary handholding and even more casualising of HLL

- the new deathscreen killed-by info - casualising HLL even more
- no idea why redeployment screen still contains +10s as "punishment". It's not a punishment, it's a standard redeployment time. We didn't TK anybody. They could have easily fixed it.
- rockets seem to be weaker in terms of damage in relation to tanks' health, while they will be able to easier penetrate (at least that's how I understood it) - trying to fix a symptom and not the source (cheap rockets with every redeploy/death=rearm)
- technician role - hopefully rearm station won't rearm while moving/firing/gettingHit +those actions should restrict repairs too for a limited time (+tank movement there)
- nothing of this was PTE-ed
oh and arty as a CMD power - good (hopefully 1st step for removing the player-controlled stationary arty guns), however...
- CMD not being able to set amount of rounds fired, their dispersion, rate of fire
- all 3 rounds land at a single moment
- no more whizzling warning sound?

Just popping in to say that update goes live in around 40 minutes.
Also to answer confirm a couple questions from yesterday, directly from the lead armor dev:
- Satchel damage has been increased to keep them the same as they were previously. We will look into the satchel at a later date.
- You can field 2 of the same Heavy. You can have 2 Tigers, or 2 Panthers, or 1 of each. You just cannot have more than 2.
I had just like 1 HLL session this month... time to examine the new stuff 1st hand, maybe test the new tank/rocket damages too.

I noticed the numbers lowered for the **engine **health... at least something. But with that many rockets needed for a full tank kill, there needs to be tank kill-assists introduced - to reward everybody who damaged the tank and not just the one who dealt the final blow.

New Cossack hat has white color pipping which is from White Army, which was opposite to Red Army and Red Army Cossacks changed the golden ribbon like a transformation from 1917 and differentiate that itโs Red Army Cossacks, DLC a bit innaccurate hat

That nerf is obviously wrong, because it's implied that it now has the same AoE as a light tank blast
