@fluid pawn I appreciate the effort in the game but I’m afraid limiting each teams available heavy tanks isn’t going to solve anything. The only thing that will do is cause a steam roll if one team looses their heavies. Making weak points on heavy tanks(Drivers port, etc.) that mediums could engage may have been a better way to go. I’m not a dev but tanking is my trade in this game and as someone whose group loves to run 6 heavy tank column events it’s a bummer tbh.

There is a crude damage/health model for infantry. A one hit kill to the arm for example won't instant kill, or at least that's what a very, very old dev brief had said back in the day. Not denying netcode issues, just saying it's not just one hit anywhere on body = kill

A shot to the hand/arm takes as much damage as anywhere else on the body. The only place that takes less damage is below the knees.

There are still instances where players are shot within a weapons one-shot range, and above the knees. The target doesn't die, yet is somehow only injured and in a bleeding state. It makes no sense how that's even possible from a technical standpoint

The commander is only a figurehead, he has no real power. The SLs have the most power to dictate the game.

Added Tobruk, added end of game voice chat, MG mounting, dynamic weather, medic heals faster to full hp... oh yeah let's not forget about making many structures useless since they can be easily destroyed - why should anyone bother building a barricade 3 minutes when it can be taken down by a single AT shot that was very poor decision hopefully fixed in the future.. if there was anything else it's probably a bug fix or minor qol improvement eg. better admin cam, training grounds, explore mode(which is useless since it does not have any more benefits from joining an empty server really I need to be able to teleport, spawn supplies etc)...

Now they're reworking Stalingrad(looked promising), adding Smolensk...

The only thing that may change the meta is the tank armor rework and how often it can be spawned, new commander abilities, the self-propelled artillery..

Squad 44 still has an active playerbase, a small one, yes, and playercount fluctuates, but it's there. And update-wise it's even more alive than HLL

For judging that, there is only one most important question: Is there at least 1 full server at any given time? If the answer is no, you can't call it alive as one can't play it whenever he chooses. If the player is forced to play when the game happens to be full and not of his own schedule, you can't say a game is alive.

HLL is a game made of spaghetti, dreams, and prayers. It does NOT take the resolution you set it to the first handful of times you set it.

Set your video to borderless windowed, save, restart game, go into any lobby and check your map. It should be clear when zoomed all the way out. If its not, which if game res and settings res dont match it won't be, go into settings, save video settings again and restart.

You might have to do this a dozen times before it starts using the correct resolution.

i have a 5060 TI, and AMD 9 7200. Still get stutter. Makes me hope HLL Vietnam blow HLL WW2 out the water with optimisaiton and no stutter
