pretty usefull. Its very situational. It works well on open maps with some verticality like Kursk and El Al

With coordinated it can be very strong but only for as long as the tank is not looking your way. Otherwise it kills you & destroys the cannon before you even aim at it.

Also, the supply guys usually tend to prefer save the supply box for SL for a garrison, instead of for a gun.

In my 8300+ hours, I haven't used the AT gun much at all (maybe up to 5% of my AT-ing). Extremely situational and with 50 supplies needed, pretty hard to get a chance to build it to begin with.

I prefer the satchel AT loadout at all times.

AT guns are strong, if you use them in good spots and long angles they can really mess up tanks, it’s a prep dependant weapon so it’s only as good as your map knowledge

All you need to have for effective AT-gunning, is a friend or two in a 2 or 3-men locked squad, while all 2-3 of you will be concentrated only on that one sole goal of building & rebuilding AT guns.

To do it with randoms that are not interested with it as their sole goal, it will always be much harder or impossible. Especially considering many peeps don't talk or respond at all these days and want to do just their own thing.

here I have to add that HLL was under Team17 dev team by then already

14.3 was the patch when they added the additional logging to the live HLL client, in order to track down the old loadout bug. So back then I assumed the stutterings were caused just by that and to be just temporary, until the added loggings would get removed once the loadout bug would be fixed.

The bug got eventually fixed, however the added stuterings stayed.

And honestly I wouldn't be surprised if the HLL devs would have forgotten to remove the logging 😄 .

"Funny" thing would be if the loggings/changes were made by some devs that were part of the lay-offs sacking that happened in Team17 (and Expression too if I recall right?), so there was nobody to remove them and change the unnecessary stuff back as the base knowledge about it may have gotten lost. Who knows...

SPAs are likely just reskin in terms of combat engagements
Stalingrad rework will be played just as infrequently as it is now

Ngl I do not like the total lack of soldier chatter or noises besides death screams. The game’s voice chat isn’t really proximity based at all, and now there’s NO audiovisual indicator for if an enemy is in close range

I mean, that’s precisely the issue. The button that is useful, team radio, doesn’t pick up as proximity chatter. Therefore, the actual proximity chatter button is useless at best.

Again this would just make everyone disabke their proximity vc. There is a reason its only when used, because otherwise there would be situation where +20 people talk at the same time, in the same space and it would destroy your ears.

There is nothing to fix here besides maybe the vc provider who had some issues in the past

Squad chat is mostly for your own squad. If you're communicating about building defenses and you'll 'redeploy soon' on proximity, it's useless to those around you. Half the time, you chat away about random stuff in squad chat.... I distinctly remember my sniper talking about having some apple pie and a beer 🤔
