My biggest issue with HLL, its historical inaccuracies and probably one of the main facts why I don't play it in the first place is the overabundance of automatic weapons

For the Americans, it's fine with their M1 Garands, but why for the love of God are there so many MP 40s, StG 44s, Gewehr 43s etc

And why is the MG 42 so overpowered for no good reason, there literally is no reason to play the MG 34

Plus, isn't stuff like the MG 42 and StG 44 still anachronistic on many maps?

hello i have an issue and i hope someone can help me out a bit

i recently got into the game, i always wanted to get it but i was hesitant due to my PC.

since it came out free on epic, I said why not. yesterday i was playing and was loving the game, talking with my squad and getting to know the mechanics and everything, it was running smoothly, i was even playing on high graphics and i had the occasional lag but it wasn't even noticeable and i could play normally

today i joined another server since i had such a good time last night that i really wanted to keep playing, but today the game's completely unplayable. i am unable to play even in the lowest graphics and every time i look around with the camera i get 2 fps until i stay still. the only way I can play without my pc turning into a reactor is turning my camera 15° a second, which annoys me because yesterday the game seemed perfectly fine

i just joined the boot camp to try out things and it's even worse. the game completely freezes when i'm turning around the camera, but it goes to 70 fps when i'm standing still

My only concern with this is how it would affect the way users manage their loadouts and cosmetics. Ah I never had issues when actually loading into the server rather the server list the game does have some weird issues with loading sometimes for some people it seems if trying again doesn't work then im not sure

3 questions, the bullet drop when I got to use the sniper on recon was pretty big any guide on how much I need to correct per hundred metres also I presume there is bullet travel time how long is it at 200, 300, etc distance

I got all my classes to LVL X normally (the nodes and trucks weren't implemented back then yet 😏 , I think even the Assault class IX loadout didn't exist yet either... nor the satchels). But XP gains and XP opportunities used to be much lower back then and considering there were XP gain changes over time and especially the latest changes and rewards for killing garries, it's impossible to say how long exactly it takes today normally.

For somebody that cheeses the nodes + truck AFK-ing, maybe up to a month or two at least, but depending on how often one plays. Without the nodes and truck AFK-ing, it's almost entirely up to one's personal aiming/killing skill and being able to get to the enemy garrisons thanks to that, to destroy them. So in case of Assault it can vary from player to player a very big deal. For an under-average player it could be maybe even a year (or more? 😄 ). Again, no way to tell rly. - too many variables there.

they are not in HLL... an open map and years later. It has always been so disappointing.

if they would get usable, why not

then we have some water towers and other already existing but nonFunctional ladders... all across the maps

I have always hoped it would be just a question of time until they get usable... but no 🙁. The devs would rather add another invisible box/wall to prevent from getting to some vantage spot, than adding an useful ladder.

I was just thinking VR before with HLL, you'd need something as robust as VR to get the innaccuracy/recoil/suppression right, since a mouse is far too simple and limited. (maybe a new kind of controller could work to get the mere act of aligning the front and rear sight to work, without the hassle of VR...)
