That's a general problem. Vets look at the issues that need fixing that you only really realise and care about when you are an experienced players. They completely forget that the game looks vastly different to a new player. Squad 44 also suffers from this problem massively.

Yep, naturally. But like I said, a vet looks at the game and sees a flawed gameplay loop. A newbie looks at the game and sees that there is no tutorial and that the gameplay is fun, but extremely overwhelming. Same game, two vastly different ways to look at it.

They fought way better than anyone else if you look at their effectiveness. They are rarely represented in gaming or media in general. The winter war also was a testing ground for new equipment and tactics which were standard later in the war. The continuation war brought the Soviets in trouble if you look at Leningrad. So saying "Finland isnt important" is completely wrong
