I don't really like the maps that favor one playstyle over the other, when they can meet in the middle is when gameplay is most fun. I don't like forest maps because it removes the danger from tanks almost entirely. If you play El Alemin it just turns into tanks spawncamping you.

It's not a bad update tho? The destruction of built structures has been needed for a while, and gives the commander more ability to impact the game outside of garrisons + bombing runs.

The map could do with more detail but overall the lanes of engagement are fun and a different experience to El Alamein which is the closest element to it

Disagree, every single update people always complain about the new map or whatever is new... it's boring mate. Elsenborn Ridge is probably a top 3 map, Tobruk just needs some more detailed elements to bring it to life and it'll be a top 5 map too

They've made 2 good updates in the past, Mortain is an okay map, but the cosmetics were cool, except for the hair things.

Elsenborn Ridge update was imo one of the best updates the game has ever had.

This update brings much needed buffs to the flamethrower and how it interacts with the elements, and the improvements to dynamic weather is good.

Every game has a sequel mate... HLL 2 will be on UE5 or the latest engine when it comes, and probably much improved graphics and animations. The current game is like nearly 10 years old code wise

The uniforms on inspection were not that good, and in fact lacked quite heavily to the quality of the cosmetics under blackmatter.

Elsenbrone was pretty good, cosmetics were a mixed bag, but I still have issues with it. Overall it was a good addition though.

These “buffs” should have been base kit features and the fact it took them years to introduce it is plain bad development and should not be celebrated. That’s like ordering food, have it arrive half baked and the chef coming by a year later to throw it in your own oven to cook it.

Cosmetics is whatever, theyre like marmite - BM also were 50/50 at doing some cosmetics, and had issues as well with the community. That's what you get when most of the playerbase is still in the 2000s/early 2010s for what they believe is acceptable for games to make money.

Elsenborn is one of the best maps on the game.

"Buffs" were original kits that were implemented by BM if I remember rightly, the flamethrower came with Kharkov did it not? Unless I'm wrong that was designed and completed by BM.

Yes BM introduced both the flamethrower and precision strike but it doesn’t change the fact that these things should she’s been base kit. And for the cosmetics BM’s may have been innacurate but they didn’t look like actual play dough unlike T17’s cosmetics

The spawning systems have changed, had new elements added to it. Trucks were added to facilitate faster player speeds to points. Nodes/Tanks are being developed and should have more detail with T17 based on their podcasts in the coming year or two.
