Are you using any Steam Launch Options. Remove them. Delete your Steam Download Cache. Also delete your %localappdata%\HLL\Saved folder. You'll have to reconfigure everything within game, including keybinds. Be sure to ACCEPT the EULA if you get it again.

the server system could use allot of work. Game is somewhat crashy and if you crash while in a full server, trying to get back in can be nightmarish sometimes. I think a lot of players are happy that the game is growing. That does not mean that the short term implications can and will be frustrating to say the least.

Ultimately though whether the game has 5000 or 50000 players doens't affect the experience. Having the average hours played per person dropped from 50 to 5 however does.

And, unfortunately, it is the new players who those frustrations are vented upon.

ive seen both sides of it from the new guy end some people are very "curt" to put it mildly and have little tolerance for people making mistakes but at the same time i have seen the new guy stare into the side of someone head before shooting them taking the truck driving off and then leaving the match 30 seconds later after they drove it into an mg nest

Is game on a regular HDD? If so move it to an internal SSD. Delete your Steam Download Cache. If it persists you can remediate with a free VPN. If the VPN remediates it then it's a blocker along the line - being your network. Be sure Date\Time are correct and set to automatic and synced to the Internet.

its on SSD same as all my other games. Ive done the steam download cache thing. I havent tried a VPN since my network is fine I have GIG internet and never have any lag with any other sgame. I also have sycned time. I have literally tried everything except buying an entire new PC.

Asked leader to ask for a half track from the commander last night. The commander refused and wanted to know why. I assumed the use would be obvious. And there was no one using up his fuel for other stuff. Is this a normal response for a halftrack?

Never has been fun to me, the shots dont even seem to be doing damage half the time

Halftracks can be useful, but if they don't have lots of fuel available for tanks, it's usually not used or maybe 1 at the HQ behind final point for a set spawn as a just in case.

I've had commanders do two halftracks before, which was a little wild.

That takes them down to 35 kills in 30 minutes

It's good, but it's far from guaranteed cheater territory

This can happen and is just a desync with network. It's never permanent. For Steam you can clear your Download Cache, and once back into Steam and do a Check for Steam Client Updates, you may or may not have any. It's usually just a timing thing.

i think the last thing HLL needs is more weapons and other frivolous content, what we need are better gameplay systems

artillery and the spawn system should be changed imo

artillery should be made an off map asset that can be deployed by the commander and drains a lot of resources. Mortars should be implemented through dedicated 2 man squads.

I have been commanding SKIRMISHes lately, usually I have to build the whole garrison network myself.

And I always ask... whoever came up with giving the garrison building a cooldown of 2 minutes must have been out of his mind. In WARFARE, I have to build the garries mostly alone. In SKIRMISH, I have to do the same but I have to wait 2 minutes between each garries placement. So stupid.

Another problem are the players. When they have garries I built for the defence around the point, they use them to push deep into the locked territory and don't come back when we get attacked from behind.
