• they scrapped away the OBJECTIVE gamemode, Battle of Danzig, The Winter War, Polish and Finnish factions, a new clan system, 101st Airborne DLC (at least the devs never spoken of them ever since they didn't added them to the next roadmaps anymore)

So no idea if the Pacific is in their viewfinder anymore either the same way. In any case though, 1st they need to make a substantial amount of new maps for the already existing non-US factions - the British and the Soviets. Thinking about the Pacific before that is done by miles, would be a very wrong decision.

For some reason, such open or bush oriented maps work well in SQ44, but don't work in HLL. Likely because of HLL's gamemode setup and all related game rules (flat frontline connected with spawnpoint placement logic etc. etc. everything connected to the gamemode setup) and lack of deeper gunplay that in HLL currently allows superAccurate long range shots.

Simply put, adding the Pacific into HLL while the game would stay in the current state would be a definite bad stuff.

yeah really weird. was happening to me on xbox. the fix for it is literally to just try to expand it while scrolling past it. its weird cuz it only shows the option to expand when youre actively scrolling through the different units. so just go up and down past what team ur trying to expand n click ur expand button as soon as you go onto it

That's why I dislike random artillery shooting as well.

Lots of community servers around peak time play plenty more organized than any official server kekw.

If you want more competative-styled gameplay, you can join any clan/comp team and then join in the weekly play-togethers/trainings. Where multiple clans get together, form both teams and then play, usually following certain competative rulesets.

Recon always goes for arty if it's firing. At least non-dented ones do. It's irrelevant if you get the kills or not.
Placing the marker where you're shooting is just good practice to let the inf squads know. Most of the time when the infantry themselves "ask" for artillery, it's nearly pointless to fill such a request, since they want it in the next 5 seconds which is unreasonable request for arty to fill.

Commander makes up around 15-25% of the game, depending on maps, modes and other thingies. It's not that big of a deal.
The most fair distribution would be:
25% - commander
25% - recon
50% - Infantry & Armor

You can win a game w/o a commander and w/o recon, but it'll make it quite harder. But for every crappy SL in the 50% the infantry and armor are responsible for, the more drastically you drop your chances.

Before entering a server it's you directly to the server. Once you enter a game you are at the mercy of 99 other people and the resources of that server being used. On average whatever your ping is before entering will be at least 3X higher when in a full server.

HLL's gameplay is too rigid to do the Japanese without in some way messing the faction up. It is not well equipped at all for assymetric warfare like PS is, so it will either be an imbalanced stomp or the Japanese would be unrecognizable.
