my personal reason being , every map in the game involves Germany (you can get used to the weapons) no matter what map you play its always the same 2. starting a unit again no matter the map its Germany every time for unit v unit battles

and also lets remember that the Wehrmacht were separate to Nazi's and the SS not all of them wanted to fight in the war, and not all of them were for or agreed with the Nazi regime

Steam was unable to sync your saves with the cloud.

All I noticed is that it resets my player outfits every time I close the game - EXP and levels remain, as I presume its saved somewhere else.

I've played hll comp at every level, from tournament finals to being a new guy in a milsim. The only times I've seen a team lose in 20 minutes is when they've fundamentally misplayed something

The opening is the thing you have the most control over. If you're losing control so quickly that you're getting absolutely ran through, then you're totally out classed, but you're also probably also taking poor gunfights. If you're getting steamrolled because one guy in a truck is sat near your 4th and 5th point, then you forgot to play for map control

It's possible to find gaps and force mistakes from any team in HLL, but if you're unable to recover from it then you're likely misplaying the situation quite a lot. But yeah, i mean, if I played 7Cav i'd probably expect to win in about 15 minutes because the skill gap is so big, but also because I know I can leave midcap and dump everybody into 4th immediately because i am just assuming they'll misplay the situation

The point I'm trying to make is if you were completely dominant as a team you should be able to create such a high skill gap that you could win in <20min consistently. That would be the peak of comp performance.

I have played in events where the rules were not to push any further than 4-1 for the first 60 minutes as to not end the game too early. There were games where a team instantly got into a 1-4 situation and then got farmed for 50 minutes straight before their 5th was attacked and capped.

One it's push to talk. You have to configure (3) keys - 1.) Team (Proximity Blue), 2.) Squad (Green}, 3.) Command (Red). Be sure in Windows you have a single MIC and single PLAYBACK device and make them default devices and disable all others not being used.

From my experiance as with all things in HLL it’s buggy as hell

Both bombing runs and precision strikes will sometimes just not kill the tank and will instead just damage it

Might not even explode on the precisions either. It’ll just doink it on the head and dissapear

Multiple things to try.

1.) Is game on regular HDD move to Internal SSD.
2.) Be sure your Date\Time are correct and synced with Internet
3.) Delete your Steam Download Cache.
4.) Be sure you are actually launching the game and NOT the PTE=Public Testing.

Because the way the game functions is that you're incentivised to die as many times as possible to clear ground, take enemy spawns and build your own to create map control.

No one plays medic because it doesn't add anything to that game play loop. Reducing everyone's agency to contribute to that gameplay loop by punishing their ability to play, by adding some dog ticket system, or wounds etc and blah just to buff medic which is a wildly unpopular class unless it's omega broken in any game see BFV for example is just bad.

In a comp game a singular arty player can easily clear 200 kills, if there's some bs punishment for dying beyond not being able to play the game how is that fun, even in public games? Adding more friction to a game that's already extremely new player unfriendly as a hardcore arcade shooter is encouraging more longevity or less?

Me and my guys only play on 1 server so we know who we can trust so if we see the regulars we are like 'Yeah we can push in. They'll have us covered' but if we see a bunch of blueberries and low level SL's we just know the translation from 'Guys stay with the tank, protect the tank' will end up as 'Bugger the tank let's go do our own thing then whinge when we can't push because we have no tank support'

It is beautiful though when the team actually works together. I remember a match on Foy once where the team was struggling like hell to take the last German point. We thought sod it, we will get a 76 so when we eventually got there we hounded the squad leads in command chat to tell their guys to stay on our arse while we push in, use us as cover and luckily they all did exactly that. Pushed in right behind us and were able to flank when the enemy were distracted by us and we took the point so easily

If you're a squad lead, you need supplies and use the watch. Same spot you make an outpost, but you need 50 supplies in friendly zone (blue) and 100 in enemy (red). You can get 50 supplies from your support player, there is 100 from supply drops from the sky, and 150 in the supply truck crates. You can even be sneaky and have two support players drop their 50 supplies in enemy territory and build a garrison. 🤫

However, garrisons in enemy territory block when an enemy is within 100m of it, so gotta be careful. 😉

There are a lot of players so getting into a server aint a problem.
