the randomness also depends on the mode
on warfare the points are never more than one big square away from each other while on offensive they are truly random
so in warfare you wont have points on opposite sides of the map like you can get on offensive
which is kinda strange, makes warfare more linear when offensive is the linear mode

Yeah, I think for Assault rifles like the M16 and AK, it should be like the STG-44 and other auto-rifles and be a 1HK out to 100 meters. 200 meters would be fun, but a bit much. An M14 should definitely 1HK out to 200 meters.

Seeing the trailer, I wasn't convinced by the destruction of the helicopters, which in my opinion should be done like the one on the Arma Reforger where depending on where the helicopter can be hit there can be various consequences, not even a hit on the final propeller and the helicopter explodes as if it was hit in the center.

I'm hoping that they include destruction of trees into HLLV since they scrapped it for HLL. Would add another nice asymmetric feature into the game, with NVA starting strong against tanks and with easily hidden tunnels, but becomes weaker as the battlefield clears up with time.
