Personally I wouldn't see a reason for an open beta for HLL:V. HLL1 had alpha/beta playtests but HLL1 was a game without any previous established base that needed to be tested.

More sensible would be to run it right into Early Access.

The impact belongs there too, but it's far from everything that makes a good gunplay a good gunplay - and HLL has been lacking in most areas of the gunplay a great deal, therefore can't be called good objectively.

The easiest way to call HLL's gunplay is "aim and click" as the weapons are laser accurate under all the conditions. One of the simplest systems out there.

But honestly I am interested in seeing if they will change anything about it in HLL:V.

I actually really like the slow movement speed. It makes it feel more realistic, and adds weight to the character. It actually feels like you’re a soldier carrying a bunch of gear and stuff. Since you move slow, it incentivizes more tactical gameplay instead of just running across an open field. It also incentivizes placing garrisons/outposts closer to the objective.

The reason AI “art” cannot be called real art is because the process of creating it lacks the conscious human element. A machine cannot feel love, hate, joy, or despair. It is not art, it is the mere product of an algorithm trying (and failing) to imitate the creativity of the human spirit. It is not art, but a cheap imitation of it. A mockery.

You know, people always talk about how AI and machines will replace people in customer service, but I don’t know if that’s entirely true.
For example, at the gas stations, we need human cashiers despite having self-service pumps for decades. This is because some people have problems at the pump and need a person to go out and help them. Some of them want to only pay a certain amount. And a lot of people buy cigarettes and a robot can’t check IDs.
Same with self-checkout at grocery stores. Some people want to buy booze or cigs, and they need an attendant at the self-checkout machines to do that. Also, people hate using self checkout. Seriously, there’s so many people that simply refuse to use it because it’s stressful.

Well, there’s a difference between a computer making a song by copying other artists from an algorithm and a musician making music that’s in a similar style to what was made in the 60’s. They still have to write the notes, figure out the melody and things like that. They still have to work for it. There’s a difference between ripping something off and being inspired by something.
