Hello, I’d like to purchase your plugin and use it on Minecraft version 1.8.8. I’m aware that this version isn’t very secure, but I’m using an advanced fork that’s built with modern frameworks and libraries, providing a much higher level of security.

Minecraft 1.8 is an 10+ year old Minecraft version (released <t:1409643900:R>) that we cannot reliably support.
We maintained support for 9 years, but time has long since run out. We cannot and will not provide support on this Discord or other platforms for it.
You can and should update your server. There are plugins for clientversion support and older-style PvP available.

There does not exist a build for 1.8.

If there was at any point it has... long long long since been buried somewhere in the commit log.

It's not something that citizens choose to support, as there isn't very much reason to stay on 1.8 at all. And I do not believe fullwall will attempt to support it again just for a singular server.

I am also not sure why you purchased the plugin when the supported versions do not state 1.8.

So if I change the server version, the PvP type will also change. I don't know what to do about this problem.

Be aware that if you do update minecraft, that current iteration of Citizens only works on 1.19.4, 1.20.6, 1.21.8 and 1.21.10.

So try to aim for those versions if you can.
