(nuttapillar) Testing large saves.yml file
Hi I'm AutoThreadBot! Don't mind me, I'll just be adding the helper team to this thread so they can see it. A human will get to you soon.
just checked, 20K lines lol
can you set experimental-list-storage: true in config and let me know if there is any data loss? @clear spindle
need to do some backups first
also you need vault installed for money in shops @clear spindle
Yeah I installed vault and rebooted. Still didn't see an option for money payments.
This just needs a plugin reload, or full server?
what eco plugin are you using?
CMI
it should take effect after loading and saving
Oh I just realised, I probably forgot to actually enable the economy in the CMI config lol, my bad.
Ah, thanks, I'll do that. Sounds familiar from setting up my other server. I'll grab the vault file from there since that works
I'll be able to try that saves yml thing I'm about an hour
here's my saves after changing that setting and reloading
yes, it's more about checking that your npcs are still working after saving and loading
seems to be working as normal for me'
can you send the new saves.yml after saving and reloading @clear spindle
still seems to be unchanged
oh, this happened:
can you send your saves.yml?
still seems to be the same size
are you sure you changed the setting?
probably has to be after a restart now I think about it
ok well nobody is on the server so i shall reboot
after reboot:
slightly smaller
still 20K lines though
nvm, same size. windows was saying its 931kb, discord says 954
either you haven't saved or it's not enabled yet @clear spindle
i saved and reloaded again, its a bit smaller now according to windows
a little under 20K lines now
ok now check if there's any issues with data loss @clear spindle
looks like it's applied now
the npcs still seem fine so far. they're walking around, talking etc
ok great. I may enable this by default in future then.
ill leave it on, and let you know if there's issues
