Is it possible to check to see what books are in a chiseled bookshelf?

I'm thinking about a puzzle where you have, for example, 6 books labeled 1 through 6 and putting them in their corresponding slots would trigger something.

It's possible to do something like this with commands, but it's pretty ugly.

You could use
