(lazytoname) whats the latest version 1.21.1 supports? the 1.21.5 version doesnt work
Hi I'm AutoThreadBot! Don't mind me, I'll just be adding the helper team to this thread so they can see it. A human will get to you soon.
!patchversion
We support only the latest patch-version of Minecraft for any recent main version (and Mojang, Spigot, Paper, etc. all generally also follow the same rule).
"Patch version" means the last number in a version label, for example in 1.20.6, the main version is 1.20, and the patch version is .6.
So if 1.20.6 is the latest patch version, then 1.20.3, and 1.20(.0) are all outdated patch versions, and therefore are unsupported.
Note that we do still support recent older main versions (such as 1.19 and 1.18) so long as you are on the latest patch-version of those main versions (like 1.19.4 and 1.18.2).

Is there a reason you can't update to at least 1.21.4?
it crashes with my plugins
Your plugins may need an update then, which ones are you having issues with?
not sure
Please post your full latest log file.
Background Info: One of the most helpful tools to identifying the source of a problem is your server logs file! Logs contain all sorts of important information like server and plugin versions, any error messages, and a lot more important information (More Info).
How To: Your log can be found in the logs folder within your server folder. The most recent log is a text file labeled latest.log. To get help using these logs, please open that file in a text editor and copy all of the text, then open https://paste.denizenscript.com/New/Log and paste the text into the box on the page. Then click "Submit" and copy the URL and paste that back into this channel.
Please do not upload the file to Discord or to other pastebin services, use the log pastebin linked above.
Again, please use our paste site.
it doesnt have a file option?
What do you mean? You just uploaded the entire log file, you can't open the log file and copy paste the entire contents?
How is it you're able to upload the entire log file, but can't open it up on your pc in a note editor to show the full contents and copy paste everything?
Alright, if this can't be done the normal way then copy paste all of the contents in the RAW version of mclogs.

Latest citizens only supports 1.19.4, 1.20.6, 1.21.4.
Many users claim that their plugins aren't updated but they actually are, so I'd like to know a few of them that aren't to check.
Okay but that's a list of plugins, which ones do you know for sure aren't updated to at least 1.21.4?
i dont knwo, it just crashes
when i start
in 1.21.4
The server shouldn't just crash on it's own.
i havent checked, and if i update it now, it will break, and countless hours of my building work will be forever lost
That's why you don't update the production server until you know everything works.
You test this locally.
Also backing up things is important.
this is just some of the work on the server
if i update, that can all corrupt and be lost
Again, you're suppose to test your server separately to make sure plugins are working and updated. And also backing up the world before major updates.
my host doesnt support multiple instances of the same server
I did not state to use your host.
how tf do i just pay for a new server if i wanna test it
Locally. As I've said twice.
As in, on your PC.
It looks like most of your plugins are updated to 1.21.4, but some are...
Ambigious.
Alright this sounds like it might be potentially problematic updating.
i cant, i have NO coding knowledge
You don't need coding knowledge to run a server on your PC.
There is literally start up guides on the paper website.
dude
However, as said.
This seems like this might be problematic updating.
Because some of these plugins are ambigious on if they're updated.
While I strongly recommend making a local server on your PC to test if your plugins are updated and working together, this seems like a exception to the problem.
One second.
also, the height limit has to be 1024 and go down to -1027, and the system i use is 1.21.1 only
Height limit can be changed in a config.
no, it cant
ty
Can it not?
That's a hosting issue then.
Not related to citizens.
Also make sure you've removed the old copy of citizens btw.
It may prioritize the newer one instead of the one I linked.
