Hi I'm AutoThreadBot! Don't mind me, I'll just be adding the helper team to this thread so they can see it. A human will get to you soon.

if you use /npc look --perplayer true, it'll return to a default value once the player it's looking at leaves its look radius

#

this does require protocollib to work, just so you're aware

it's just whatever the current pitch and yaw of the npc is. if you want to set it to a different value than it currently is, you can either use /npc look normally, move to where you want it to look, then disable /npc look, and it'll save as that. or, you could use /npc rotate (--pitch [pitch]) (--body [yaw]) (--head [yaw]) if you know the specific values you want to use

what commands you using to set that default position?

dark yacht
#

@river copper you should use /npc pose --save default -d instead of perplayer

I seem to be having a similar issue? The NPCs' heads just don't return when player is out of range, I have a default pose set and everything, what can I try to fix this?
