(opasik) citizens v 2.0.28
Hi I'm AutoThreadBot! Don't mind me, I'll just be adding the helper team to this thread so they can see it. A human will get to you soon.
Citizens doesn’t support 1.21.1 in the latest version, you’ll either have to upgrade to 1.21.3 or downgrade to 1.20.6
I mean, I have a slightly different question
Can the configuration from this version be loaded onto a newer version without any problem?
Yes
okey thanks
Although there was a change in the saves.yml usage back in July, I believe most issues from this have been fixed
I was just curious to see if I could 1:1 upload to the newer version and that nothing would break, but over 2 years of difference has
!pasteyaml
Help us help you by pasting your YAML config file to https://paste.denizenscript.com/New/Other?selected=other-yaml and linking it back here.
Could you paste it into this link so I can take a look at it?
Most things should convert, there may be one or two that don't
Maybe loading on 1.18.2 version first would be better
What for? I mean, I'm literally preparing something for version 1.21.1 right now, so I don't know
Can I transfer this file or make the npc from scratch?
Content of YAML Paste #128341: lalala... pasted 2024/11/20 11:27:42 UTC-08:00, Paste length: 83326 characters across 1592 lines, Content: # Citizens NPC Storage
It looks like it should transfer over, but if you want to be on the safe side, I would keep a backup locally until you confirm nothing has been altered/changed

Try it and see!
If somebody pulled this up for you, you're probably asking a question of the public channel that's easier and faster to figure out by just attempting your idea in-game and looking at the result of that attempt.
It probably will but no guarantees
I was just saying you could upgrade citizens sequentially just to load and save that file
can i ask which build works with 1.21.1?
Name patch: @weak warren had a nickname that started with a symbol or number...applied a special first symbol in place. Please start your name with a letter from A to Z. (This is to prevent users from artificially appearing at the top of the userlist).
