(angeldustart) Can I increase the speed of a sentinel npc when it is locked on an enemy?
Hi I'm AutoThreadBot! Don't mind me, I'll just be adding the helper team to this thread so they can see it. A human will get to you soon.
Any news?

Don't ping for help. https://denizenscript.com/discord_rules#rule3
"Pinging" refers to using an @ to alert somebody to your post.
Generally only ping somebody if your message is very specifically directed at them (meaning, only that person has anything to do with the information in your message, and it would be confusing who it was for without the ping).
If you're asking a question, please just make a forum post and ask.
If you have a bug report or a feature request, please just make a forum post about it.
If this is pulled up for you by a helper, your ping was unneeded.
If you're arguing about it, you're wrong.
Normally I don't mind users pinging me if it's relevant, such as I responded to their question but I didn't speak in this thread prior and don't have the answer.
I understand, I've just been waiting for a while and still no response :/

Sentinel can be found on GitHub at: https://github.com/mcmonkeyprojects/Sentinel
there's a speed command listed in the readme ^
yep but that's for the basic walking speed
the Sentinel Speed value, naturally, applies only when Sentinel is active (ie it's doing combat things), and doesn't apply when the NPC is doing general pathing
no it is not
uhm I tried it and when it patrols it walks slower but when it attacks it runs at its classic speed
I've already gone through much of the command list. What I'm trying to create is a sentry that patrols slowly but rushes toward an enemy at high speed when it spots one, even faster than its standard speed. When I tried using the 'speed' command, I noticed that during patrol mode, the guard moves much slower (I tested this with various speeds), but when it engages in combat, it moves at its default speed. I'd like to be able to modify the speed specifically for when it engages an enemy
so you want exactly what's in this video, yes?
Yes, but you can tell that the guard already has a high base speed, even when it's not in attack mode
