Is there a way to detect player holding their left mouse button?

Example:
Player holds a sword and then swings it, but doesn't let go of left mouse button, just holds it - how to detect this?

I dont think there is a way to detect that. The server can only detect actions, not what the player did to cause the action.
Unless holding the mouse somehow triggers other ingame effects the server doesnt know about it
