I recently updated my 1.20.6 world to 1.21 and now about half of my NPCs just de-spawn themselves whenever i restart or unload the chunk, how do i fix this?

Also, everytime i bring them back (/citizens reload) it gives me a scary warning about the cmd

Sometimes shop NPCs switch their shop type on their own

@near torrent I haven't heard anyone else having this problem. I suggest you start by removing all plugins except Citizens to see if it is a plugin conflict

they almost definitely meant #1024101613905920052. As fullwall mentioned, the next best step would be to check for a plugin conflict

I deleted every citizen with a shop, path or trait and am slowly rebuilding them but, i still cant figure out how to keep them spawned in

i have the same issue in the last 2 weeks, after updating to 1.21. It is so random. Everything can be ok for 10 restarts... and on the 11th restart the NPC are not loaded and I need to do /citizens reload twice so the NPC's are showed again.

Its so weird. I tested it on a new server with same plugins datapacks etc and it works just fine. go to my main server and they just despawn every restart

@opaque forge that's not a full startup log or a full shutdown log and there's a bunch of multiverse errors...

Sorry, I just sent it like that because citizens doesnt show up after that.

and those errors are normal they cant generate tp acess to some of those world because its a dimension datapack

@opaque forge can you send a full startup and shutdown log with debug-mode enabled in citizens' config.yml. Just need to also make sure the multiverse errors aren't preventing citizens from spawning npcs
