Hi I'm AutoThreadBot! Don't mind me, I'll just be adding the helper team to this thread so they can see it. A human will get to you soon.

drowsy quartz
#

this is the save with the original positions of our backup

#

pufferfish 1.20.4

drowsy quartz
#

and they have this effect on them? dont know if that has something to do with it?

thorn isle
#

No, might be related to a plugin on your server?

drowsy quartz
#

not sure, im already testing it by taking down every plugin one by one

#

but i added today only 2 plugins and they are not the reason for the position change or the particles...

Info: logs

Please post your full latest log file.

Background Info: One of the most helpful tools to identifying the source of a problem is your server logs file! Logs contain all sorts of important information like server and plugin versions, any error messages, and a lot more important information (More Info).

How To: Your log can be found in the logs folder within your server folder. The most recent log is a text file labeled latest.log. To get help using these logs, please open that file in a text editor and copy all of the text, then open https://paste.denizenscript.com/New/Log and paste the text into the box on the page. Then click "Submit" and copy the URL and paste that back into this channel.

Please do not upload the file to Discord or to other pastebin services, use the log pastebin linked above.

Invalid Log

Log file given looks like a snippet or not a valid log. Please post your full logs/latest.log, not just the snippet you think is relevant.

All information is needed - especially the full startup output, which contains server/plugin versions, and usually is where important error messages are found.

Should be a restart log

#

!restartlog

Info: restartlog

If you're having trouble posting your log file (!logs) or you posted a log but it's missing information, you might just need a restart!

What To Do: Restart your server, replicate the issue, and then Paste your logs/latest.log file right after.

Why: sometimes logs contain a lot of unrelated output if the server's been running too long which makes them unable to paste properly. Also, every day at exactly midnight minecraft servers do a log rotation, which basically just means the latest.log no longer contains the startup section of log output, which is often the most important section of the log!

drowsy quartz
#

it was, dont know why its not longer

thorn isle
#

Maybe you didn’t get the right log file

drowsy quartz
#

i did, maybe its that short because of the midnight before it

Server Version

Purpur version git-Purpur-2119 (MC: 1.20.4)

Plugin Version(s)

Citizens v2.0.33-SNAPSHOT (build 3294) -- (Outdated build, behind by 11)

Checked For

@thorn isle

Online/Offline

Offline, but proxied.

UUID Version

4 (:white_check_mark: Online)

Other Noteworthy Plugin(s)

WorldGuard v7.0.9+5934e49, ProtocolLib v5.2.0-SNAPSHOT-679

Possibly Relevant Plugin(s)

NametagEdit v4.5.23 - Some scoreboard or name-edit plugins may lead to scoreboard control instability.
ViaVersion v4.9.3-SNAPSHOT - Mixed client vs server versions can sometimes cause packet-related issues.
HeadDatabase v4.18.4 - HeadDatabase has been known to cause issues with skins.
CMI v9.6.9.9 - CMI tends to mess with a large variety of server features and often gets in the way of issue debugging.
Multiverse-Core v4.3.1-b861 - Multi-world configuration plugins may affect NPCs in unexpected ways.

Potentially Bad Line(s)

Starting Minecraft server on *:25568 - server is offline but has no address bind. This might mean you're using a system level firewall, but if not, it means your proxy is bypassable by hackers. Either enable a system level firewall, or bind your server to localhost in server.properties via server-ip=127.0.0.1.
Caused by: java.lang.ClassNotFoundException: me.blackvein.quests.quests.IQuest :warning: Log contains error messages.

#

thats the only thing i found now

thorn isle
#

Not related

#

I can’t see anything obvious

#

Worldguard maybe?

drowsy quartz
#

nothing changed at worldguard in the last months

#

and never had problems before today

#

could that have something to do with creative?

#

i tried now to reproduce it for minutes, nothing happend, got into creative, took a 10 block flight -> BOOM they are changing there positions

#

same again, got into fly, fly straight towards them and BOOM, they change position. Looks a bit like they are being flung backwards, but no guarantee of that

#

yes, thats it

#

its not a bug... its a feature...

#

problem was the plugin rocketboots...

#

still no idea, where the particles come from, but hey, one by one...
