I'm having trouble locating the correct version of Citizens that's compatible with MC 1.20.1. I'd pay for it on Spigot, but I don't use Paypal. I'd be happy to donate $10 elsewhere if I could get a version of the plugin that works on my server. Thanks!

citizens doesn't support 1.20.1 anymore, you want to use 1.20.4 and provide backsupport to 1.20.1 via viabackwards

Spigot releases of Citizens are available at https://www.spigotmc.org/resources/citizens.13811/.

Update Paper

Paper is a higher-performance alternative to Spigot that is 100% compatible with the equivalent Spigot version. It's much easier to update than Spigot itself, and carries a lot of performance and quality-of-life benefits.

Latest Paper builds are at https://papermc.io/downloads/paper.

I don't know what "viabackwards" means? Unfortunately, I'm using other plugins that aren't yet compatible with 1.20.4. So I guess I need to wait until they are?

I think the main one is Essentials X (which I've just checked is now updated for 1.20.2). I'm also using worldedit, worldguard, luckperms, and vault, but some/all of those may be fine/updatedable.
