I'm unsure about the second piece, but from what I understand, the colorization on tab completion in game is client sided - Can we take control of what gets tap completed and in what color?

per the second piece; It'd be cool to have complete things like raw text to replace with Unicode characters like discord does with Emojis :smile:

That's controllable by the server, Spigot's API is just bad

Paper is working on a new command API that'll let us use that

And I believe that's possible via custom tab completions and chat events to replace with the actual emojis?
