Hi I'm AutoThreadBot! Don't mind me, I'll just be adding the helper team to this thread so they can see it. A human will get to you soon.
You can block this bot if you don't want to see these messages, I won't mind.

Rule 3

Don't ping for help. https://denizenscript.com/discord_rules#rule3
"Pinging" refers to using an @ to alert somebody to your post.
Generally only ping somebody if your message is very specifically directed at them (meaning, only that person has anything to do with the information in your message, and it would be confusing who it was for without the ping).

If you're asking a question, please just make a forum post and ask.
If you have a bug report or a feature request, please just make a forum post about it.

If this is pulled up for you by a helper, your ping was unneeded.
If you're arguing about it, you're wrong.

#

no need to ping anybody

Info: logs

Please post your full latest log file.

Background Info: One of the most helpful tools to identifying the source of a problem is your server logs file! Logs contain all sorts of important information like server and plugin versions, any error messages, and a lot more important information (More Info).

How To: Your log can be found in the logs folder within your server folder. The most recent log is a text file labeled latest.log. To get help using these logs, please open that file in a text editor and copy all of the text, then open https://paste.denizenscript.com/New/Log and paste the text into the box on the page. Then click "Submit" and copy the URL and paste that back into this channel.

Please do not upload the file to Discord or to other pastebin services, use the log pastebin linked above.

Checked For

@paper minnow

Online/Offline

Offline, but proxied.

Other Noteworthy Plugin(s)

WorldGuard v7.0.8+33cdb4a

Possibly Relevant Plugin(s)

TAB v4.0.2 - This plugin adds Below_Name scoreboards to NPCs.
ViaVersion v4.7.0 - Mixed client vs server versions can sometimes cause packet-related issues.
Multiverse-Core v4.3.1-b861 - Multi-world configuration plugins may affect NPCs in unexpected ways.
FastAsyncWorldEdit v2.4.1 - This plugin has been known to break the plugin load order on many servers, due to usage of the 'loadbefore' directive in its 'plugin.yml'.

Potentially Bad Line(s)

Starting Minecraft server on 0.0.0.0:25532 - server is offline but has no address bind. This might mean you're using a system level firewall, but if not, it means your proxy is bypassable by hackers. Either enable a system level firewall, or bind your server to localhost in server.properties via server-ip=127.0.0.1.
[09:09:05] [Server thread/ERROR]: [Citizens] v2.0.32-SNAPSHOT (build 3148) is not compatible with Minecraft v1_19_R1 - try upgrading Minecraft or Citizens. Disabling... :warning: Log contains error messages.

#

you're running highly outdated software

#

update paper and citizens

open tide
#

but

#

im using waterfall

#

papermc

#

1.19

#

and where do i even download the new 1.19 citizens plugin?

paper minnow
#

That's fine, just update to 1.19.4

open tide
#

where?

paper minnow
#

though you'll have to update eventually

#

!update paper

prisma hawkBOT
# paper minnow !update paper
Update Paper

Paper is a higher-performance alternative to Spigot that is 100% compatible with the equivalent Spigot version. It's much easier to update than Spigot itself, and carries a lot of performance and quality-of-life benefits.

Latest Paper builds are at https://papermc.io/downloads/paper.

(If you would prefer to use a Spigot build, refer to !update spigot).

#

^ bottom of that page has older paper builds

open tide
#

but i wanna use the 1.19 downloads

paper minnow
#

if you mean 1.19.4 then--again--bottom of the page. if you mean 1.19.0, there's literally no reason to do that and we can't support it

open tide
#

So for my 1.19 server, I cant use citizens?

paper minnow
#

that's correct, but fortunately it's easy to update and you loose nothing

open tide
#

so i need to update to 1.19.4

paper minnow
#

yeah, or ideally 1.20.1

open tide
#

but why isnt there a 1.19 (flat) citizens plugin?

paper minnow
#

because there's no reason to use 1.19.0

open tide
#

i use 1.19.0 and many other people use that

pearl wraith
#

No

open tide
#

is there atleast one for 1.19.1?

pearl wraith
#

No one uses it anymore its extremely outdated

#

Always use the latest patch version

#

!patchversion

prisma hawkBOT
# pearl wraith !patchversion
Info: patchversion

We support only the latest patch-version of Minecraft for any recent main version (and Mojang, Spigot, Paper, etc. all generally also follow the same rule).

"Patch version" means the last number in a version label, for example in 1.18.2, the main version is 1.18, and the patch version is .2.
So if 1.18.2 is the latest patch version, then 1.18.1, and 1.18(.0) are all outdated patch versions, and therefore are unsupported.

Note that we do still support recent older main versions (such as 1.17 and 1.16) so long as you are on the latest patch-version of those main versions (like 1.17.1 and 1.16.5).

open tide
#

anyone?

pearl wraith
#

No

#

There is not

#

Only the latest patch version

open tide
#

So if i change my 1.19.0 server to 1.19.4

#

will citizens work?

pearl wraith
#

Yes it will

open tide
#

ok

open tide
#

how can i put multiple lines in a npc name?

#

like this:
Hello
World

Instead of:

Hello World

winter grail
#

/npc hologram add hello
