Should be possible to mount interaction entities on then base npc and use display offsets to mimic armorstand entities, in theory reducing packets sent and improving client performance

Can text display entities handle this? I thought they had modifiable translation and view range values, handling all of the oddities this person had to work around
No, I tried text entities out (the code is still in citizens) and they don’t quite look the same as name tags, there’s a pixel missing on the left side and they lag a bit
This alternative approach seems to work better which surprised me
