(Joshie) Issue installing meta bot on our discord/dedi
Hi I'm AutoThreadBot! Don't mind me, I'll just be adding the helper team to this thread so they can see it. A human will get to you soon.
You can block this bot if you don't want to see these messages, I won't mind.

Hi! I'm a bot! Find my source code at https://github.com/DenizenScript/DenizenMetaBot
post your config.fds file contents
@stable seal
wouldnt this be on the machine you have access to?
since i'm a dev in your server you could see about giving me access if you want me to find it and reference it
he probably doesn't know how to get to that file lol
No it's on the dedi you would need dedi access bear.
up to you if you want me to try and help more, i have no malicious intent but it's up to you
we can wait for jordan
I know. Just having multiple people in our main dedi isn't ideal. He's spent years setting it up so having someone new poking around isn't ideal.
He will be here soon dw
behr your cat would jump on their server and knock a glass of water onto it
Lmaoo
this also sounds like you dont have users set up for your dedi; i know he works for pebblehost, but you should seek out a method of creating users for your backend so you can control that more safely, you might be running as root or as the primary user with root level access?
No we do have users secure with ssh keys don't worry
okie coo- so the consensus currently is waiting on jordan then for now
Pretty much yeah. He won't be long tho. He's probably answering questions like
'Is 256gb ram enough for miencraft server'
In pebblehost tickets
bruh a server i'm working with rn had 32gb allocated to one server
had to explain why that's not helpful
People don't understand how java works lol
I used to have a silly amount allocated when I started too. I guess if you don't know. More is better in everyone's mind at first.
(it isn't me that inq is talking about, im just guilty of allocating a lot of memory)
I've managed to fix it, was an issue with a package preventing access to a folder
