(JosedaLoC) NPC gets stuck with doors
Hi I'm AutoThreadBot! Don't mind me, I'll just be adding the helper team to this thread so they can see it. A human will get to you soon.
You can block this bot if you don't want to see these messages, I won't mind.
<@&525394568410038282>
They have enough room to go past those doors but they just stand there
I am using the new pathfinder with check-bounding-boxes: true and open-doors: true
No errors in console
can you enable the Citizens debug in the saves file and replicate it so we can see what's happening?
!logs
Please post your full latest log file.
Background Info: One of the most helpful tools to identifying the source of a problem is your server logs file! Logs contain all sorts of important information like server and plugin versions, any error messages, and a lot more important information (More Info).
How To: Your log can be found in the logs folder within your server folder. The most recent log is a text file labeled latest.log. To get help using these logs, please open that file in a text editor and copy all of the text, then open https://paste.denizenscript.com/New/Log and paste the text into the box on the page. Then click "Submit" and copy the URL and paste that back into this channel.
Please do not upload the file to Discord or to other pastebin services, use the log pastebin linked above.
I also found out that sometimes the NPC doesn't even open doors
This is what happens, as you see, instead of going directly to the target location, it opens a decoration door it should open and then gets stuck

I think the errors appearing about Task #8752 for Citizens (The door opener) could be fixed on my side as they appear when I remove an NPC with my plugin that has an active navegation. I just need to cancel that navegation and then remove it. It should fix them.
But those are not really relevant as they only appear after removing the NPC as I already said
It works fine until it encounters a door, sometimes it opens it succesfully and close it, other times it just doesn't open it as showed in first image, and other times it opens a door it shouldn't as shown in second image
what is all of this particle mess

Pufferfish version git-Pufferfish-70 (MC: 1.19.4)
Citizens v2.0.31-SNAPSHOT (build 3100) -- (Outdated build, behind by 1)

ProtocolLib v5.0.0
FastAsyncWorldEdit v2.6.2-SNAPSHOT-437;362f6cc - This plugin has been known to break the plugin load order on many servers, due to usage of the 'loadbefore' directive in its 'plugin.yml'.
FAWE is likely to be relevant in the testing here;
can you also test on Paper?
!latest Paper
Paper is a higher-performance alternative to Spigot that is 100% compatible with the equivalent Spigot version. It's much easier to update than Spigot itself, and carries a lot of performance and quality-of-life benefits.
Latest Paper builds are at https://papermc.io/downloads.
(If you would prefer to use a Spigot build, refer to !update spigot).
Citizens path debug does this
Not in this case I don’t think, seems like a door pathfinding issue
I’ll have to look on the weekend
Did you find something?
About the issue?
No pressure, but do you think you will get this fixed by Thursday?
If not, I will develop a workaround
Uhh… what’s the deadline?
Depends really, I do have a lot on my plate.
Like I said, if you have work to do, don't worry about this, I have a workaround prepared
It is Thursday, but don't worry
I think the fix to this is to add directions to the door examiner
Probably
But yet again, I have a workaround to make doors open automatically and then close so it doesn't depend on the NPC's Door opener
Ok
Well, I can try to look at this tomorrow but yeah I’m basically flat out between work and other projects
Let alone providing support
Don't worry, take your time
I'll track it in https://discord.com/channels/315163488085475337/1096110925578256384
