Hi I'm AutoThreadBot! Don't mind me, I'll just be adding the helper team to this thread so they can see it. A human will get to you soon.
You can block this bot if you don't want to see these messages, I won't mind.

i want him to respect my roads

misty hemlock
#

have you considered using the guided waypoint provider?

#

/wp provider guided

plucky flare
#

I tryed waypoints but they just kept walking along the path. I Haven't heard of wp provider guided is there info on how to use it?

misty hemlock
#

sorry I'm rewatching your video

#

can you not just create more points along the road?

plucky flare
#

I'm running the command npc pathto and It seems if i do multiple then it will just default to the furthest one

misty hemlock
#

you have to wait until the path completes

#

maybe there should be a command that goes through several points?

#

in the meantime, you could

  • use Denizen for advanced scripting
  • use the command delay feature for /npc pathto
  • pre-set up your path in /npc path and pause/unpause navigation as required
  • add the waypoints using the /wp add command instead of using /npc pathto directly
plucky flare
#

can you pathto several points?

Changed to Feature

Thread is now a Feature thread. This indicates a request for a new feature to the plugin, that both (A) does not already exist and (B) reasonably can be added. If you are unsure whether this applies, use </helpthread:1028674284870180883> to change back to a normal help thread.

I've put some suggestions above as well.

plucky flare
#

ok thank you for the help! It would be cool if you could make a road path so whenever you path the npc you could tell it to use the road you've made with the wp editor

misty hemlock
#

I agree, there's some limitations in how citizens works currently. you can do exactly that in denizen however, which I encourage you to use in the meantime

also remember /wp add x y z works if you don't mind putting in a bunch of x y z coordinates

#

but I understand if you want a temporary path as well.

plucky flare
#

right its kind of a strange request

#

thanks again
