I'm looking to display a full schematic as a preview before pasting with display entities; do i have to create a display entity for every single block or can i just display the entire schematic?

actually had another question too, im not figuring out how to handle the interpolation of the block entities at all; i've tried adjusting their velocity but i forgot they dont tick, i've tried pushing them but they just teleport to my location and their translation rotation just gets all botched, and i can teleport them but it's still just as choppy as teleporting entities - wanted a smoother transition without repeating all of these

I think you would need to kill and re-spawn them on different locations

or does teleporting have the same efficiency?

Smoothest way to teleport them is to mount them to a living entities ala an armor stand

it’s definitely more on the performance heavy end though than just display entities

If you’re just moving then in a smaller area though why not just use translation?

i'd adjust the translation alone to move it around but if im not looking at where it actually is, it'll unrender

If you just want the display entities to move smoothly while teleporting, mounting is the way

you did just give me the idea though, i could try to teleport it if their yaw is too far away from their origin instead of the translation adjustment

I wonder if you could do a hybrid approach to teleport when the movement was too far but otherwise use translation?
