#(Skullfurious) Feature Request: Disable Placed Beds from affecting Sleep Command

When an NPC is told to sleep at a location with a bed, they will position themselves relative to the block orientation. I'm sure this is fine a good majority of the time, but I was wondering if there could be a switch to ignore placed beds when telling the NPC to sleep. Thanks.

Changed to Feature

Thread is now a Feature thread. This indicates a request for a new feature to the plugin, that both (A) does not already exist and (B) reasonably can be added. If you are unsure whether this applies, use </helpthread:1028674284870180883> to change back to a normal help thread.

(Skullfurious) Feature Request: Disable Placed Beds from affecting Sleep Command

In my case the location is typically player.location and the player is usually standing on or around the bed when the NPC is created and then told to sleep.

The problems I've been running into are basically that if the player sleeps one block at the foot of the bed they will be sleep aligned to the bed but hover over the foot of the bed by one block so it looks like something from 2012 planking challenges.

Another issue I'm running into is NPCs are not freeing the bed after they are removed. For some reason beds remain occupied after an NPC is despaired/removed. But that might require another bug report.

If so, couldn't you just adjust their pose?
