a clientside mod isn't going to affect the issue; he probably was referring to you referencing it's health with some mod
@gray kayak citizens by default do not respond to damage or receive/use/inflict knockback, because theyre immune
Sentinel can add that, but you stated you dont have that and you dont want them to be hit or knocked back
you have some other plugin causing the problem
you can try updating again and we can try taking a look at the logs again if you want, but that is the problem
